is anyone dressing up for Halloween?
I wonder how Diamonds Are Forever had turned out if Lazenby would've stuck around instead of Connery.
I'll dress like Ronald McDonald and have a sign saying: "I love you to death, costumers"is anyone dressing up for Halloween?

Make sure the list is not in your death note.I'm innocent, i swear!
*writes down dukes name on kill list.*
We'll have the Ninja Turtles walking among us, for protection.Soon it will be All Hallows Eve... When Hobos and Mole Men are free to mingle among the human race without fear. Beware... BEWARE!
Lazenby wasn't really a bad Bond. Sure he wasn't a match for Sean Connery, but for his first real acting gig he gave us a Bond that went on an emotional journey and was able to convincingly pull of the weariness of the character. People often tend to exaggerate and say he and OHMSS sucked but neither really did.
If Lazenby did DAF at the very least we would have an emotional follow up to a great story and could have seen Lazenby grow into the role more.
I think that OHMSS' problem isn't Lazenby or the story. If anything the set up is fantastic and it SHOULD be a great Bond film. It's the execution. For some reason it lacks energy. It's amazing but even Telly Savalas as the baddie seems a bit inert. I put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the director.

Seven days... almost as long as the next deathmatch.
Yeah, and that director had very little directorial experience before taking on OHMSS. His biggest credits beforehand were his work as editor on the Connery films. That's something of a problem EON had for a while, because they hired John Glenn and that was much the same situation. Not all of Glenn's films were bad, but they were certainly lacking the energy and vibrancy you'd get from an actual director.
This is why I am hopeful that we get another Mendes type to do a Bond film. Go for the brass ring. Get a Nolan or even a Spielberg to take the reins.
Nope, but I'm secretly hoping to see an Immortan Joe among the trick-or-treaters this year. I realize Mad Max is not exactly child-appropriate but with parents these days...I have hope.![]()
