Déjà vu? Netflix has released the trailer and key art for the upcoming original film ARQ, premiering on Friday, September 16 to Netflix members worldwide. Check out the ARQ trailer below, along with the key art in the gallery!

ARQ, starring Robbie Amell (“The Flash”) and Rachael Taylor (“Jessica Jones”) is a Netflix original film set in a dystopian society, written and directed by Tony Elliott (“Orphan Black”). The film is an official selection of the 2016 Toronto Film Festival.

In a future where corporations battle against sovereign nations over the last of the world’s energy supplies, young engineer Renton and Hannah find themselves attempting to save an experimental energy technology that could end the wars. The catch is, the technology has created a time loop that causes them to relive a deadly home invasion over and over again. They must figure out how to stop the time loop and come out of it alive.

Looks pretty interesting.

Edge of Tomorrow 2! I really, REALLY wish, Netflix gave us a little more advance on their movie releases than two weeks.

EDIT: Directed by one of the Orphan Black writers, extra interesting.

Good little movie about time, like a nice Twilight Zone episode but longer.
It's well done and use the strength of the theme very well, click the spoiler tag as your own risk if you are familiar with the genre
especially the end

I dug the hell out of this. I love that it still manages to feel different from Source Code and Edge of Tomorrow.

Just saw this. It was pretty, pretty cool, and really dug it. Like it was said earlier, it manages to feel different from source code and Edge of tomorrow. It's a more intimate story and works really well.

It's pretty interesting how it deals with it''s characters, story background and has overall great production values (save some clunky vfx).

I highly recommend it. Not the best, thought provoking sci-fi out there, but a really fun, well made movie.

Watched it yesterday. It started out as a Groundhog's Day type movie and it followed the premise but not the formula. There was also a sequel set up there which could be good if they can recapture the elements of this one.

I watched it last night. I thought it was pretty entertaining.
