The "mystery" wasn't even all that compelling. It was basically the same damn thing every episode. "This person might have, oh no they didn't. Well this person must have done, oh wait no they didn't do it either." Rinse and repeat. It was dull and boring and made me miss Sara even more. Add to that that the resolution was both predictably and lame, plus Malcolm's "plan" makes no freaking sense whatsoever (and is making LESS and LESS sense by the episode ironically), it was just a misfire on every level. As I've said before, if they absolutely HAD to kill her off (which they didn't btw), then they should have done so last season. At least Slade killing her would have made more sense and fit better, rather than having her leave, then reappear in the very next solely for the purpose of dying.
