Oliver decides the best way to protect everyone in the crossfire is to surrender himself to Slade before his friends are hurt further. When they realize what Oliver plans to do, Diggle and Felicity band together to stop him. Meanwhile, Laurel renews her investigation into Blood's activities, and Thea considers leaving Starling City.

After tonight's epic I can not wait to see what happens

Just wondering...from a logistical standpoint...where does Slade get the masks for his army? Who mass produces the masks? And is it safe to assume he's getting a good rate?

Maybe, he got the number of a good manufacturer from Alfred or Bruce...?

Maybe Oliver former company mass produce them..

So, Oliver is telling someone that he's the Arrow. Please, for the love of God, let it be Thea. Oliver, she's lost enough and she now knows that it's personal between you and Slade AND that he was on the island with you. JUST TELL HER ALREADY!!!!

I can't wait to see Laurel finally be justified in her suspicions on Blood.

Instead of worrying about Olly having a 6 yo kid, I was worrying about a 3-4 episode arc where Laurel *****es about Olly knocking someone up while they 'dated'.

That was so 3-4 episodes ago, Laurel aint got time for dat!

Agreed. I'm betting he is telling either Thea he's the Arrow or Officer Lance.

Eh, he already slept with her sister while they were dating. The fact of pregnancy doesn't really do much beyond the fact that he was cheating on her. I would hope she realizes he's not the same person anymore.

She'd still hump him, even if he knocked up a dozen different women. Remember, she gave him already lovey dovey eyes in the very first Episode of the show. And that's when he just returned and she was still pissed at him for cheating and being responsible for her sister's death.

Man that extended promo gives me a serious Dark Knight Trilogy vibe! :D I can't wait.

Bane-stroke's entire plan gives me Dark Knight Rises vibes.

-An abnormally strong mercenary with a connection to the heroes past recruits an army of convicts with which to conquer the heroes home city.

-The female corporate character who is the heroes romantic interest/sleeps with him turns out to be in league with the aforementioned mercenary. She only reveals her true nature after banging the hero.

-The hero willingly signs over control of his massive company to said female character, who then uses the R&D department to help facilitate the mercenaries plan.

-The heroes new love interest who has a dark/complicated past, but is ultimately a good person wears a black leather costume and helps him fight crime.

-The villains systematically destroy the heroes fortune/connections, eventually driving him to the brink of bankruptcy.

-The hero has a sidekick/accomplice who can make very philosophically insightful speeches right off of the top of his head that still sound like they'd take a long time to come up with.

And those are just the one's that I can think of right off the top of my head.

But let's not act like Dark Knight Rises was some original masterpiece. The majority of the plot was basically a rip off of The Alabasta Arc of One Piece.

Officer Lance already knows, but doesn't want to know. His exchange with Laurel prior to her own realization spelled that out.

Thea is the only one left.

Apparently you never read "The Judas Contract," which predates "The Dark Knight" by more than 20 years. There are certainly comparisons to the Batman movie, but there are just as many comparing Slade Wilson to Slade Wilson as opposed to Bane and Isabel Rochev to Tara Markov. I wouldn't try so hard to compare it to the movie. Nods are going out all over to multiple sources.

And unlike the movie, I don't think Oliver will be getting his money back and Talia didn't come back to life as a super-powered villian.
