If I remember right this is the 3rd episode he has been in. The first was where he basically was a vegetable, the second he wasn't quite as bad, and now this time he is somewhat normal. So based on the second episode they made it look like he was getting better.

I'm pretty sure the first he was a little out there, then the 2nd was early this season I believe and he was catatonic and Ollie didn't kill him now he escaped before that and is a wacko again, I may be wrong on the timeline but I think that's right.
