Barry was in his early/mid twenties when he got his powers. N52 he's late twenties/early thirties. Pre-52 he was early to mid thirties. All approximate, of course, since comics rarely nail an exact age for anyone.

(referring of course to the 1988 story in which his origin is told in detail - fantastic read!)
