Barry crashing into shelves of chemicals?

That looks very similar to how Barry crashed through the shelves with chemicals in the original Flash TV series! Anyone out there with skills up to posting a side by side for comparison? I wonder if if the Particle accelerator creates the storm that causes that incident, or will Barry get his powers from a combination of two seperate events? One with the accelerator and then perhaps the chemical one later?

Can't wait for Wednesday! Also I hope Berlanti/WB/DC are just being coy, and they do connect Arrow into MOS 2's Universe. It certainly has the quality imo that it would not seem inconsistent within a cinematic format, and it would certainly cut to the chase as far as establishing characters for any potential JL movie.


P.S. I hope when Barry show's up as the Flash later next year they get the costume right. It might be tough within a TV budget, but the original series seemed to do very well in that regard. I'd feel more confident though, if the guys that did the MOS costume were in charge of it's design.

Just noticed your post, and I agree. Surely there is a connection between them. They've dropped so many hints on Arrow about the accelerator, that I can believe that it isn't partially responsible for BA's transformation.

^ this is how I think it's going to go down. Near the end of this episode, Barry is in the lab and a storm is brewing. Something sets of the accelerator, which shoots Barry into the shelf of chemicals. I don't think the storm will have any thing to do with it other than paying homage to his origin.

Why do I think this episode, well heard from someone that the end of this episode will want to to have a time machine so you can travel a week forward to see the next episode.

I'm guessing the guy in the mask is the guy that Blood treated with the super soldier serum (the one that lived and said it made him feel stronger) . Also they said this reminded Oliver of something that happened on the island. So I'm also guessing Slade gets dosed by this stuff. And possibly the KGBeast?

^ yep the guy in the mask is Cyrus gold I believe. Pretty sure slade gets the serum too. Not sure KGbeast will get it since he seemed pretty normal in episode 6.

yeah but they haven't found the stuff yet. that's what they're looking for. when they find it I'm guessing they test it on the KGBeast. And somehow Ollie and Shado get some and give it to Slade to save him. And he kicks the KGBeast's butt.
