I'm glad that Donna is showing up, though Marc righting the episode makes me a little hesitant.

Some **** always goes down with Felicity's mom comes to town.

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't this like Brandon's last contracted episode for "Arrow"?

According to Guggenheim, Routh is confirmed to be in eighteen episodes. This means he'll be appearing in every episode until the season finale.

How do we set the poll to the "make voting public" option? Its getting on my nerves that every unaired ep is getting a 10 from someone.

This is the episode I'm most excited for at the moment, I really want to see what happens, who dies, and what was going on based on the set pics that leaked last month

Oh, I had thought that he was only contracted for 12 episodes initially. Well, that's great to hear since I'm actually a fan of Routh's and his character.

I've been complaining to luis about this for weeks, but he still hasn't taken the advice.

It's funny because I was watching Supoerman: The Movie with my girlfriend the other day, and it was her first time seeing it, and the first thing she said when she saw Clark Kent in the DP was "OMG that's Ray." It's easy to see why he was cast in that role, and even though it didn't work out, I'm glad to see him on the show, Felicity and his scenes really lighten up the show.

Does your girlfriend know that Brandon had also played Superman as well?lol

Honestly, I'm not much of a shipper but I hope that Oliver gets over Felicity at the end of the season and that Ray is allowed to be Felicity's stable love interest for the time being.

If this season is really the "best" that the producers can offer when it comes to the pairing of Oliver and Felicity, then I really have no desire in wanting to see more of it as their "drama" hasn't been considered a high point for this season.

And like you said, her scenes with Ray really lightens things up on what has been somewhat of a grim and dark season thus far.

Not really, I was trying to catch her up on the history of Superman because I kept telling her about how Smallville feels very campy now compared to Arrow and even the Flash, and I used the movie to help explain what I meant about how the tone of every changed.

And yeah, I nearly checked out completely when Oliver confronted her about Ray, and how she turned it into being about her. In that sense, they've made Felicity seem unlikeable, whereas she gets all that charm back in the scenes with Ray. I just hate that its most likely going to end by the end of this season.

Normally, from what I've seen in other fictional works and even from real life, love triangles aren't generally supposed to look so bad...but wow, when placed in the context of a CW show, it really makes almost every member involved look bad in some form.

I mean Barry and Iris really come off as looking like terrible partners for their respective ships (Linda and Eddie) due to the whole love triangle mess that they're all in. And somehow, it always ends up reverting to the female character (the one that's the object of desire for everyone) always complaining about her needs, etc.

I've had several female friends who have seen Raimi's Spider-Man films, Arrow, and Flash and they all agree that whenever MJ, Laurel, Felicity, and Iris were placed in love triangles, they all came off as terrible/self-centered women leading on several nice guys from their perspective.lol

I will never understand why some of these producers love to destroy on what they've work pretty hard to built from several years of groundwork, just for the sake of stalling the union or believing that the union between the individuals will make things grow stale.

worst part is this happen on April fools day and there is no time for pranks.....

Felicity is the only one I wouldn't agree with. I think she's been fairly reasonable when it comes to her love issues with Oliver. He's honestly jerked her around a lot. I actually really liked her little monologue to him where she listed off all the horrible things that have happened to the women he's loved. Dude really does have a bad track record. Women should run the other way if Ollie comes into their life.

Haha; true, Oliver is a walking death trap for every woman he ends up sleeping with.

Idk, with Felicity, I feel like she would easily drop Ray at the first sight of a hopeful future with Oliver, and that's what I don't like about it.

Felicity, prior to this love triangle, was a very (for the most part at least) decisive woman who knew what she wanted and never let anyone really hold her down.

But with the way she interacts with Oliver, post hookup with Ray, it seems like she's treating Ray as the proverbial rebound as a result of her inability to be with Oliver.
