I don't know what is about the team falling apart, the team managed just fine while Olicity was gone, they should be fine with her gone now.

Obliged:

Laurel is the one calling "time of death" in the promo for this episode, so she's not the one dying unless they stuck that in there to throw people off (which is a lot of unnecessary work).

It's not responsible to expend the time and effort to record lines that are going to be used solely as a "red herring".

Except we don't know who she is talking about, could be a number of things/people and she could (as in 99% will( get killed right after that to "shock us".

If she doesn't end up dying this season, I will totally hold myself in contempt of court and give praise where praise is deserved but I have never been surer of a character dying. We've already seen everyone but Katie filming and she has almost let it slip that she was cleaning out her trailer so....

We can continue this match in a week.

Two deaths in a matter of seconds - whomever Laurel is talking about and Laurel herself - would just be canceling.

Plus, they take time to film scenes then cut them for time so if they had her record anything extra it would be no different.

I thought you were a Laurel fan (or at least not a Laurel hater). Why are you arguing against evidence of her surviving?

I am a Laurel fan but I can't look past what is right in front of my face. Plus I rather plan for the worse and be right then plan for the best and be wrong.

^ That doesn't make much sense, but okay.

Personally, I'd rather take evidence at face value than be cynical and pessimistic, and Laurel being the one to call "time of death" is pretty solid evidence that she's not dying.

We'll see what happens, though.

What doesn't make sense?

I rather believe she is dying so if she dies I am not surprised rather then hoping that she is the one that lives but then she ends up dying and I be even more disappointed then I already am.

But the evidence wouldn't be any different for anyone else on the show. We've seen Thea/Diggle/Quentin/Donna all film current episodes. Unless it is Terrific who dies, there is no one else that Felicity and Oliver would care about.

it would be terrific if he joined team and while oliver said the door is always open..... he did tell his husband in he's not planning to do any hero work. but you never know?

I did suggest it might be someone they (team arrow) and barry got to know really well recently in the show , in the who's in the grave thread. but some how I'm not sure if this will count with Curtis .

I'm with Primal Slayer. Both in being a Laurel fan and 99.80% expecting her to be the one in the grave.

Leaving an itsy-bitsy-teeny-tiny flicker of hope that she isn't, but I'm actually pretty ready to be completely done with the Felicity-Smoak-Show-Masquerading-as-the-Arrow [aside from x-overs I'll be forced to watch to follow along in the shows it shares a universe with]... and the killing off of Laurel will finally make that happen.

Maybe Paul dies. Part of Mr. Terrific's origin in the comics is that his wife gets killed. His husband being one of the victims could push him to joining the team and being a hero.

As for Laurel, I'll be VERY surprised if she isn't in the grave.

I don't buy the notion that it's Laurel in the grave, as I've yet to see any evidence for said notion that is actually compelling, so it doesn't make sense to me that Laurel fans would just "give up" and resign themselves to something that I don't think there's all that much evidence for.

Oh well. We'll see what happens.

There is nothing I'd like more than to see her survive. But considering there has been absolutely nothing about her being on set since the death episode and she's dyed her hair dark again, it's kind of hard to be hopeful.

Now the synopsis says Laurel gets an offer. Maybe it's something that takes her away for a bunch of episodes or the rest of the season. That could be a possibility. But like I said. Not very hopeful.

If they kill off the Black Canary, plus with the confirmation from Marc Guggenheim that Olicity will get back together by end of this Season, I'm done with ARROW for good.

I'm pretty sure that it's diggle who's going to be killed

There would probably be another vocal minority backlash similar to The 100 if they kill a LGBT. Paul isn't anywhere near as popular or significant as the The 100 character that was killed but some folks would still probably say it was deliberately malicious.

Idk, I wouldn't mind if they went that route with Curtis.

But I'm with Primal, I'd rather go in expecting Laurel to die and be proven wrong because I will be happily surprised, than go in expecting her to survive and be proven wrong because I'd be devastated.

What was the point of cutting Merlyn's hand if he's just gonna replace it with a new one? Samething with Wheelchair Felicity, why cripple her just to have her back walking?

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Like many decisions so far in the second half of this season, I have no idea why they made the decisions they did.
