Why are Oliver and Felicity looking for a magical solution to defeat Darhk? Surely Felicity can just talk him to death, or hit him with her laptop or something?

Malcolm Merlyn is so underhanded ;)

ETA: Felicity just pulled a Sorkin-ism ("Don't talk to me like I'm other people.").

ETA2: I guess no one else is watching/commenting. I'd say at least cap Andy so he can't walk. Even if you don't want to kill him, that seems a good idea.

this episode was freaking awesome remind me of arrow of season 2

That was pretty intense. Keep waiting for a White Arrow reference.

Man this episode was so awesome!

Thought it was pretty bad other than the scene with Diggle finally taking out his brother.

I swear if Felicity takes out Darhk....

EDIT: NVM, I was only midway through the episode.

There were a couple times I thought they'd go there, but, to their credit, they did not. Even at the end when he says "I heard your voice," he actually said "I heard your voice, Thea's voice, Diggle's voice, and Laurel's voice."

So the Felicity voice thing didn't play out as bad as I saw it written in a review?

Damn, great episode, hopefully more like this :D

Anybody think Malcolm is trying to get Tommy resurrected if the Chicago Medical show don't work.

Good episode. It was a lot better than the crap one we got last week. It would be nice if more episodes had the same pacing, intensity and focus that this one had.

My thoughts too. Hopefully we get more episodes like this one, and less episodes like Beacon of Hope and Canary Cry, which were both crap.

I don't think so. Unless you blacked out as soon as you heard Oliver say "I heard your voice" and went "here we go again," you would hear the context that he was talking about his entire Team Arrow being his support that gives him light in his heart. He mentioned Felicity first and that probably wasn't a coincidence, but he didn't mention her exclusively.

Even if it was just Felicity's voice that he heard, there would have been nothing wrong with that. She was his girlfriend and they were very close, and she is also the love of his life. Sure, it is cliché, but it is not that bad or enough to ruin the episode. If their relationship had more moments like that and less drama, then it would be better and I think less people would have problems with it.

Not gonna happen. Chicago Med already got renewed for season 2. Show isn't going anywhere.

It depends on what they would plan to do with him of course, but I do not think it would be a good idea to bring Tommy back, as much as I loved him in season 1. His death played a massive part in Oliver's journey and making him who he is today. He should stay dead IMO. If he is brought back, there is a massive risk of the character, what he stood for and what he represented being tainted.

My only real gripe with the episode was the almost comical bit where Diggle kept putting his gun away and then taking it back out to point at Andy.

Also, Diggle: worst marksman ever.

Some reviewers are complaining about the not-very-surprising Thea reveal. I actually enjoyed that part. By now, I would hope Thea would be aware enough through her training to notice something so obviously out of the ordinary quickly. I would have been far more disappointed if they had dragged that out.

This episode was okay, except for every f***ing scene Felicity was in.

Not only did she just HAVE to tag along for the main story arc, but she HAD to be the f***ing gambling genius who drew out their secret contact.

I swore, when they were discussing Oliver's inner darkness and how it wouldn't work against Dahrk, had they come to the conclusion that somehow it HAD to be Felicity to face Dahrk, I would have turned off the TV and walked away, right then and there.

When she glared at Oliver when he said he was going to go see someone about learning the magic he needed to stop Darhk, I literally said out loud, "You pissed because he didn't check with you first?"

For the most part, I had no problem with Felicity in this episode. The only time she kind of annoyed me was when she interrupted a conversation, but I cannot remember who it was that she interrupted. I think it was Oliver and Esrina.
