which is MY GRIPE with this *censored* .....

the other thing about the hottub ..... the hottub is poisoned , NOT THE SOURCE where the water is trickling down in the back of the set.

If it's anything like an actual hot tub, the water it's dumping into is the source. Like a fountain, that's how they never overflow.

How did Double Down get to the lair?

The bromance is back! :D I imagine there might still be some issues to work through but Ollie and Digg are not the types to have a long mushy feelings talk, I thought the scenes of them hashing it out worked well and I loved Felicity verbally blasting them both! :D

The action was on point, from the opening sequence to Ollie vs. Double Down to Thea vs. the LOA foot soldiers. Double Down was a cool (Meta)gun for hire villain and I thought the guy playing him was good.

I'm liking the Felicity and Curtis dynamic, they are fun together and their encounter with Double Down was one of my favourite Felicity scenes. I also loved her "Original Gangstas!" line delivery. :funny:

The Nanda Parbat stuff was decent, I love that set! The scenes between Thea and Malcolm were good and I thought Nyssa's compassion but pleas for sanity towards Laurel were the highlight. Sadly they didn't do Laurel any favours with her pig headedness. I was hoping she'd see sense and then Malcolm would dunk Sara anyway for his own agenda.

Damien Dahrk really is a fearsome villain, his display of power and ruthlessness to Double Down was brilliantly done and chilling.

I like the basic set-up of the flashbacks so far, interested to see how they develop.

Arrow's really been clicking with me this season, finding the right balance between light and serious moments and a solid plot. I'm glad they didn't stretch the tension between Dig and Ollie too long.

Ollie getting injured should cause him to go back to full sleeved look. Comic book accuracy my butt, the man should better protect himself.

Malcolm is a sick dude, and now he's the first ever one and done Ra's Al Ghul...no restoring available.

I'm really digging the villains. They're actually threatening and lead to some nice fighting sequences.

What is up with the security at Nanda Parbat? If you're not sure who your visitors are, why are you taking them to the main chamber? And how did Double Down get to the top floor of Palmer Tech? I'm guessing he killed the security men on his way up.

I love the new bits of music this year too. Such as the new island theme and the cue that played at the end when Nyssa destroyed the pit.

Malcolm sent people to thea's room to be killed so security works the way he want it to there.

as to lair 2.0 it's how it's always been he just ran down the stairs to the basement of what QC and Palmer teach has .

As if there wasn't any security at the stair case door way there from the jump . I already said this a few pages back when quoted I primal slayer, it seem only person on Dc tv related shows that knew how to make a security system work was Thomas Wayne and it's on Gotham.

every one else from arrow to flash is horrible at it and do just lip service and is shot down easy with a simple walk in from the villain or some like Jay guyrick . while it took Bruce to freaking get hammer to break the key pad with hammer and finally get explosives when the hammer didn't work took him weeks. or what happened with the female fire fly with knife of duma's with working bio metric's .

while in arrow it's talk and laser light shows on the dance floor but it never works when they need it.

it's really funny

well I know who'd I want if want for a security company that does things right . I'll go to Thomas Wayne if he wasn't killed off. the other have sub par security don't know what their doing. just like their detective and forensic work.

I guess they must have a door somewhere that says, "Secret lair. Don't come in."
again Thomas Wayne in Gotham put them all to shame. the only character in DC tv that knew what secret room ar e& how to hide them and how to make sure they are tough to break into. Sadly he was killed.

I don't know if they showed that shot of Felicity using the gun for any of the trailers of this episode, so I didn't make the connection that the scene would happen. So, I was actually surprised he came down there too thinking the action was over and Felicity would just better explain her connection to GA.

yeah they did as soon as he came down the stair way and knocked out terrific she used the gun before he was knocked out after double down attacked to chase him away.

well she did tell him in the elevator and said she explain later and later when terrific was fixing the lab he said she was cool for actually making the city a better place by helping the arrow, when she tried to explain further. so I think he's semi on board. he made the T sphere's and they do the opposite of what he said he wanted. They explode so I'm sure t'll be used for something tactical later on , there also the contact lenses which are too pricey but I'm sure they can use those for some special type targeting or to see through things or use them for some under cover work like take camera shot's of criminals they need to identify.

Man am I glad Nyssa is back. :atp: Just too bad I'm not loving the plotline she's wrapped up in...but still, just glad she's back since I enjoy her.

I'm loving the HIVE'S theme song, which was played in this episode.

So uh...what is the point of Diggle wearing a helmet if they're still gonna call him by his name out in public? And he's spying on HIVE without it and got spotted. Another reason why I think the mask was a pointless idea. Hope he ditches it soon.

And I don't know about you all but I cringe every time Malcolm and Thea have a scene together. I don't like how he has to remind us in every single line that Thea is his daughter (he literally says it every time.) To this day I still feel like their relationship is way too forced. Thea acts like Robert was never in her life and Malcolm acts like he never had Tommy. This whole "why can't you be a normal father?" crap blows me.

He's a mass murderer. He's not normal. Anyway this episode was okay. Just okay.

As always Hunter we are on the same page  Might have to PM you to discuss more since we know how it can get in here haha.

It was a good episode but I wasn't really in love with it. I get why Laurel would want to bring back her sister but not why anyone else would help her...especially Thea or Malcolm.

If they just through away all of the Laurel/Nyssa friendship stuff from last season, like this, I'm going to be very annoyed.

I feel like when Diggle shows his HIVE notebook to Ollie

It's a sign that Diggle might be the one in the grave. The notebook might become akin to the new list and will allow Ollie to carry on whatever Diggle wanted to accomplish.

Nah fam. Forget all that.

this is OFFICIALLY the fault of the PRODUCER or CEO who think they have any level of common sense in the season plot lines .

plus it doesnt seem like NYSSA would be one to hold a grudge since she is still OLLYS QUEEN ......er... commonwealth wifu :woot:

I hope Olyssa gets brought back in some shape or form just so the tumblr SJWs go crazy. I get that she loved Sara, but it's never been explicitly said that she's a lesbian. It could happen... :crso:

It hasn't been explicitly stated because it doesn't have to be. Nyssa's a lesbian. I'd be very surprised if they ever had her in a romantic or sexual relationship with a man.

True. My post was more wishful thinking than anything. And at the expense of people who'd get heated.

I thought Sara was supposed to go into the pit naked and emerge from it that way. That's how they showed it for the LOT trailer. That was disappointing and a misrepresentation.

Is Ray trying to contact Felicity? What other explanation can there be?

I was thinking that if he had been a bit taller and weren't playing in Arrow, then David Ramsey would've been a good choice for Luke Cage. He probably would look better with an afro too than Mike Colter if the need ever arose.
