Malcolm (John Barrowman) checks in on Thea (Willa Holland) andleaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver’s mayoral holiday party. I'll truthfully admit that last night's 2nd part of the F/A[=LoT] crossover was the first time I've watched an Arrow episode this season - but have read a few reviews & discussions of each episode aired so far.....

That being said, is the death that relates to the 'future' grave scene supposed to happen tomorrow night, or later in the season?

If it is tomorrow night, I think that really narrows it down to Mama Smoak or Daddy Lance.

If its later in the season (likely near the very end), then it could be anyone [aside from OQ] - but here's to hoping its Felicity (if that's the only sure way of stopping the ugly beast that is 'Olicity').

From a storytelling point of view, Felicity can't die yet, since Oliver is still keeping his son a secret from her, and seems to be an ongoing plot point according to interviews with the producers who constantly bring up the point that all secrets come out. Without the secret of his son resolved with Felicity, she can't really die yet, otherwise that plot thread will be left unfinished. Plus, the trailer giving us the money shot of Felicity about to "die" makes it to obvious since we'll be expecting it ever since the funeral scene from episode 1. If anything, the character who dies should come as a shock or surprise, and Felicity is way too obvious.

What you say is true to a point. However if they were to almost kill Felicity and/or put her in a coma for a few episodes then people would think she is safe ...

ok so I've been thinking about this and I know who it is thats truly gonna die now it's not felicity as the producer has stated she still has to find out about Oliver's secret about his son so she's off the death list. sorry I don't have a link I asked the my sister to provide it but she couldn't remember the ULR. anyways I agree with Legendver2. and I'm also calling the mother of Oliver's son to be the one in the grave, now.

Well the thing is, it supposedly happens "6 months later" from the season premiere. Arrow usually moves in real time, more or less, which means we'll be seeing the grave scene in a March episode.
