BvS As of right now... which character reveal has impressed you the most?

Which character reveal on this movie so far has impressed you the most?

I voted for Lex Luthor and Batman. They really surpassed my expectations on how I'd imagine those character look like physically.

We Already knew what superman looked like from mos., so for me it was all about the others.
It was hard deciding. It was between batman and aquaman. I guess I would say more shocked/impressed with AM. I love WW's look also tho. Lex is about what I expected.

We knew what Cavill would look like from MOS so I count him out. I'd say Aquaman is the best at the moment wasn't expecting THAT.

I mentioned in another thread that audiences(and people) are excited and intrigued by what's new and yet familiar vs what's simply familiar. Going forward this is going to play very well for WB/DC as they make a play to capture the audience's imagination in this modern landscape.

I honestly can't get over how swell all this casting is and seeing how bold Snyder can be with his actors in ensembles it makes a Morrison jla kid like me really happy. I also think they are going to make everyone able to hang in a superman world so that means Batgod and flashpoint strong Aquaman and serious Luthor and Choreo Wondy.

Batman is my first choice. I've never been happy with any of the previous batsuits, so a reveal with a suit I liked was long overdue.

Superman and Lex tied for second. Even though I had an idea of what superman would be like, it was a relief to have confirmation that they hadn't decided to change things too much and use a more retro suit or something. As for Lex...I was worried they'd leave him with a curly head of hair, but they didn't. In that case, I appreciate the classic.

The WW reveal was a "close, but no cigar" for me. They needed push it further. I didn't like the Aquaman look much.

I agree that knowing Superman from MOS makes it less of a reveal. It's sorta unfair to include him in poll, cause Batman caused a large impact since it was a new actor AND new costume. Not to mention this followed an amazing trilogy from Bale/Nolan. I think Batman was the biggest reveal in that it pleased the majority of fans and set the tone.

Batman is mine. I expected it to be all black like it's always been so to see a black and grey costume that based of TDKReturns was very impressive.

Wonder Woman is second due to the endless debates over pants or skirts leading up to it.

Lex is third because we didn't know if he was bald or not.

Aquaman and Supermn are tied for fourth. After they cast Momoa I expected Aquaman to look like that and we've seen Superman's suit in MOS.

Batman and Wonder Woman for me.

Batman, for finally getting a suit I waited for years to see. And all that attention to detail, like those scratches on the batsymbol, etc. really surprised me.

Wonder Woman, because I didn't know what to expect and Wilkinson managed to make it to visually stay true to the comic book look while still seeming practical enough for live action and making sense on its own. There are some things I would tinker a bit, but overall, it was probably a toughest costume to tackle and the execution is great.

I must say that I like Superman's costume a lot, actually, it is probably the most beautiful suit among all those costumes. But, while definitely better looking than MOS suit, I already knew what to expect when it comes to his look.

Same goes for Lex. I knew what to expect. Eisenberg looks good, but he looks exactly as I thought he will.

As for Aquaman, the suit is growing on me, but it initially left me underwhelmed and I still think they could have done a better job. Momoa looks good though.

The Batman and Superman reveals are the ones that thrill me. The others are ok/expected.

For me, a great reveal is one where it makes me excited to see more of the character. Especially if I never cared about them before.

Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman.

Each time I remember having slight trouble breathing. All three designs incorporate more iconic elements than I expected, and the right ones at that (strapless top and bare thighs for WW; scales, gauntlets, and some light hair for Aquaman; and no armor for Batman), but they also are bold and fresh.

Superman and Lex look great, but I've already seen Superman before, and Eisenberg looks just like I'd imagined.

Batman. Only because of the hatred Afflect got. Plus the bad assery of his demeanor in-suit in the first reveal was awesome, with the bonus of the Batmobile. But the head shot might be my favorite because you have to try very hard to unsee Batman. Not Affleck, but Batman.

well if the key word is impressed...

...then i would go with EisenLex. even if a bald Lex isnt anything new, the intensity of the photo is incredibly impressive, most specially the fact that there arent any fancy elements to it-- no dramatic backdrops, not curious paraphernalia-- just Eisenberg giving us his best Lex Luthor look.

not to say that the others arent impressive. they sure are! but with the Lex reveal the wow factor is even more heightened by its sheer simplicity.

Wonder Woman and Aquaman were exciting because of the novelty factor, but as a diehard Batman fan, nothing gave me greater joy than seeing that suit for the first time - after decades of having to endure all-black rubber.

Yeah, Batman for me.

But frankly, I've been impressed or pleased with all of the reveals thus far, barring Superman's because we'd pretty much seen him already. Wonder Woman essentially looks perfect to me.
