haven't been on an asian movie binge for a long time now. need to hit it up again.

i did recently rewatch Mr. Vampire.
it's a horror comedy classic from Hong Kong. made in 1985 and produced by Sammo Hung.

it's about jiangshi - chinese vampires. some of y'all probably know what's up.

just watched Hwayi : A Monster Boy this was a really good Korean Thriller with great performances and really good action scenes its about Hwayi, a boy who was kidnapped as an infant and raised in isolation by five notorious criminals, highly recommended

just seen Mother and this film was beautiful,emotional and quite moving piece of cinema with a great surprise ending and shows the lengths a parent will go for their child ,the lead actress was oscar worthy
