Uncle Ben's death and the immediate impact were very strong.

When Gwen smiles after Peter says "those are the best ones".

The Lizard vs Spidey fight at school. Especially the webbing up of the Lizard.

When Flash said "he gets it".

Cap Stacy making Peter promise he'll stay away from Gwen.

"Your thumb is where, dad???" lmao!

Peter's fight with Uncle Ben. The emotions coming from Andrew were so real and powerful. I felt myself sucked into that moment.

The speech and death of Captain Stacy was remarkable. First thing that comes to mind because I feel as if it is so much better of a set up than the death of Norman Osborn and Harry's vengeance in the original films!

-The origin and Peter's reactions
-School fight
-Dr. Connors going insane in the sewers
-Uncle Ben's death
-Peter fighting the thugs in the streets.
-THE ENTIRE MOVIE!!!

  • Captain Stacy's death and the ultimate promise.
  • All the school scenes.
  • Uncle Ben's death.

I loved everything that was basically intimate. Things I related to and things that stood out emotionally.

When he has his backpack on and is standing over the city
i just started appluading

Car scene with the little kid. My fave.

I didnt think that scene had 1/3rd of the impact it should have had.

A small moment: when Peter's reading upside-down in his bedroom. That was the first moment where I actively thought, "Wow. It's like reading a comic book."

- The moments with Peter at home with Ben and Aunt May. All scenes were handled great.

- the fight between Peter and Uncle Ben leading to his death. Seeing his death shown this time around and so soon after the fight gave that scene much more weight.

- Peter thug hunting and his inspiration for the costume

- Flash trying to make amends to Peter before getting slammed against the locker. Flash was cool the way he handled the situation saying he understood.

- Dinner at the Stacy's.

- Spider-man saving the kid on the bridge and seeing the reaction of the father when he gets his kid back. You can feel Peter's pain underneath the mask as he witnesses the affection he never got from his father.

- Capt Stacy's demand before his death.

- the final 10+ minutes of the movie after the final battle.

I love Peter coming in battered after saving the city and you can tell Aunt May is on the verge of a breaking point and then he pulls out the eggs and she gives him a big hug.

Classic.

Loved that scene as well. I don't think there's any doubt now that Aunt May knows he's Spider-man.

I wouldn't mind if Aunt May knew. I haven't got to see the rest of USM past a couple volumes past Aunt May finding out, so I don't know how they'd deliver on that end. I just hope that Peter knows to keep Gwen and Aunt May away from all the action Spider-Man faces.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she knows by the final scene. I just don't understand why they aren't more forward with it.

The scene doesn't need Aunt May knowing Peter is Spider-man to work.

She was hugging him as a child who's been bullied, had love trouble, lost his unclle, and had abandonment issues. And that works for me.

Honestly her response to him being Spider-man would've been much more confrontational. There's no way she would just go along with it.

AH! I loved the whole movie. The whole thing kind of made me feel like I was a kid again, reading the comics and watching all the cartoons. They did good! I think my favorite action scene was definitely the school fight. the Library scene with Stan was hilarious. I also loved all of the emotional scenes, it just made me have actual feelings for the characters...great movie :D

Any time he is web-slinging.

Because i was blown away by how it felt like a comic panel come to life. This movie got down exactly the joy, the freedom, and the style that Spidey web-slings.

Plus all the hilarious quips.

Stan Lee's cameo was pretty funny.

I love the scene where he's just sitting on his bed holding his toothbrush and (what I think was) the faucet.

I LOVED the Stan Lee cameo. His best ever, bar none.

"Cool t-shirt."
"Dude's crazy. Chicks dig him."

Or something along those lines :p
I like how they made Flash true to the comics, with him bullying Peter and admiring Spider-Man.

The wake up and smash the alarm clock got a huge laugh in my audience.

I also loved his agony/obsession about finding the killer and how Capt. Stacy showed him that he is not looking out for other people, just doing his own thing. It was a simple and powerful scene at the dinner table.

When he saves the kid and says I'm Spider-Man. For me it was really powerful because before that I was thinking he became Spider-Man way too fast and then once it got to that part it hit me... He wasn't Spider-Man yet until that scene. Not sure if anyone else feels that way but that's how I took it.

LMFAO oh my god...I forgot about that. Can't wait to watch this movie again.
