SAN FRANCISCO – November 6, 2007 – Ubisoft announced that Hollywood actress Kristen Bell will appear in Ubisoft's highly anticipated video game, Assassin's Creed. Kristen Bell will play a key character in Assassin's Creed, whose mysterious role is an important part of the game's intricate storyline.

"It was crucial to find an actress who could convey the emotional range and talent needed to play this key character in the Assassin's universe," said Jade Raymond, producer for Assassin's Creed. "Kristen Bell is a remarkable actress who was able to bring her character to life in a dynamic way that I don't think anyone else could have done properly. Her professionalism and dynamic personality were a perfect fit for this project."

"I was a big video gamer growing up, so working on Assassin's Creed is my chance to be a part of video game history," said Kristen Bell. "It's something completely different than what I've done before, so it's cool I get to branch out and try another entertainment medium. I was attracted to this project because of the intelligent storyline and the character I play. Plus I admire the artistry of the graphics of video games. I look forward to seeing what my character will look like and I can't wait to play the game and see if I can beat it!"

Assassin's Creed will be available in North America in November for the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, with an MSRP of $59.99 and the Limited Edition priced at $69.99 – Assassin's Creed is rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB. About Kristen Bell One of the hottest and most sought-after young actresses in Hollywood, Kristen Bell rocketed to stardom as the title character on the series "Veronica Mars." She recently joined the cast of "Heroes" to great fanfare and gives voice to the narrator on the popular new CW series, "Gossip Girl." Kristen's upcoming projects include the title role in the Judd Apatow-produced feature film "Forgetting Sarah Marshal," "Fanboys" and the animated feature "Sheepish."

About Assassin's Creed The game is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. :O

****, this game has the most real hot chicks related to it since the Hooters game back in the day!!! THe only downside is you lovesick puppies consider these actual reasons(Kristen, Jade) to buy the game. I'll admit Jade is hot, but if she was butt ugly I would still buy this game, but this thread would only be half as long cuz there would be no posts of random hot babes and Raymond worship. I can't wait for some real reviews, maybe even in the December GI?

I need to make a choice...

I have 60 bucks in my pocket right now...

Should I spend it on Assasin's Creed( next week) or COD4:Modern Warfare (This week) ???

What would YOU do?

Thats a tough choice. Have you played the beta for COD4? Are you into realistic FPS's? COD4 has been getting great reviews, and with online play its replaybility is much more than AC's, especially with the different stuff you unlock as you rank up in multiplayer and the perks which are awesome, they keep you played to unlock the best ones. It gets better and more fun the more you play it online. I'd say wait until at least the reviews start coming out for AC.

What would I do? I'd work my ass off overtime the whole week so that I can earn enough green to buy and play both. Just like I already in the last two weeks of October. Now I have enough cash to buy COD4, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Crysis and Kane & Lynch. It's game time, baby!:up:

....but you love Hitler

Plus, I couldn't afford most of my games without gamestop..

If i were you, id go with Creed. Dont get me wrong CoD4 is FANTASTIC and im having a ball with it, but its nothing truly revolutionary, Assassins Creed is gonna bring a lot of stuff to the table that we havent really seen before, plus a completely unique story. I bought CoD4 to hold me over till Assassins Creed. All in all tho, it doesnt matter, whatever you decide to do, youll come out a winner. Call of Duty is a proven fantastic game and Assassins Creed WILL be a proven fantastic game come Nov 14.

:O

Awesome.

This game is going to own all over the place.

I just hope I can get enough of a fill in a week to be ready to move on to Mass Effect. If it wasn't for all this pain in the ass stuff getting in the way, I'd be great. Stupid work....stupid wife....BAH! :p

As if there was ANY doubt. Good lookin out brah.

It’s a game people will still be talking about five years from now

Love to hear that.

I was slightly worried about repetition and it looks like that is a small snag, but with everything else being almost perfect, i think ill be ok. Then again, just about every game i own faces some level/objective repetition at some point(CoD4, Gears of War, Halo 3 etc) and i had a blast with the single player aspects of those games.
