Actually, it's worse than that. Almost all guards and soldiers do not even know theTemplars and Assassins exist. They're just doing a job or are patriotic. Assassins basically run around killing what we would call police or military. Probably why the devs have said its grey vs. gray morality.

Hah ur prob right. I just used that as an example. I felt the last game did a great job of making the user really question the Assassins motives. I guess it was because Connor was questioning them himself, but for the first time in the series i really didnt see the Templars as this "evil" force. Thought that was really neat.

Yeah, AC3 did a good job of not showing the Templars as evil. I think Revelations did the "best" job of showing the Assassins negatively. The mission where Derinkuyu is blown up I was like "WTF, Ezio!". Probably the first time the wrongness of the act wasn't just fridge horror, but upfront.

Either that or The Fall, where they helped start communism. Not that they could have predicted where that would lead, but still.

So the exclusive missions are just the Aveline missions? Word. I had no desire to play as that character. I really wanted those exclusive missions from ACIII so it's cool to hear these exclusive missions don't interest me.
