I have a ride now. Yay!! My sister's going to be my guest, and she's going to drive. Thankfully, google maps say I'm only a little over an hour away from the theater. And, I found a way we can go so we can avoid the interstate. Traffic is so bad in Atlanta. I would hate to get stuck in traffic and miss the movie.

What time is everyone planning on getting there? I've never been to an Imax theater so I'm not sure how much it matters where we are going to sit.

I'll be visiting from Columbia, SC with about ten friends... considering I've never been to Buford... how nice is this theatre/mall is it worth going to hours prior?

I've never been to the mall myself, but here is the link if you want to take a look. This mall seems to be huge, and it looks like you could kill some time in there if you needed to.

Hey, did you guys hear about how 42 gave out more tickets then they have seats for, so now its first come first served? Kickingandscreening thread page 14, Onewomanshow posted it. Don't want to start mass hysteria, but its probably worth checking into.

I thought thats what it was for seats? Where if you want a good seat you gotta get there early?

Its one of the best malls in Georgia. A lot of unique shops and things to check out there. Its worth taking an hour or so and walk around the place. Also, its the best theater in Georgia because its the only freakin IMAX screen in Georgia that plays real movies!

Best place to park is in front of the food court. Check the website, you'll park in front of the section labeled 'F'.

I'm thinking a duct tape arm band that has shh on it, so we can all know. Yeah dingo has the best idea the courtyard just outside the doors to the food court/imax which is inside the mall BTW. This is totally the cat pajama's!

There should be plenty of hotels around the area, it is a well traveled area. I would recommend looking on hotels.com or something to find a hotel to stay at before hand. 2 days to go, I'm like trying not to eat off my hand with excitement!!!!

Do you guys know if this theater is anti-costume or anything? I'm not going to the kicking and screening premiere but I am going to the main premiere in costume. I've heard that some theaters have no costume rules and the last thing I want is for me and my friends to get there and be turned away because we're dressed up.

Hey all, I haven't posted much, but I've been following the virals almost since the beginning. There's a group of eight of us coming from Chattanooga, TN (about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Buford, it looks like) so we'll see all you other SHHers there!

i just talked to the manager at regal MoG, she said the imax theatre holds abour 335 people....ATL got 165 tickets. x2, 330 people. i then asked if they gave out more tickets, she said they always do, but then again i dont think she realized there was only 165 given out.

so i wouldnt freak out and get there too early guys. if you have a printed out ticket, your getting in, else they wouldnt of limited it to 165. if it was first come first serve they would have given out 500 tickets and the first 335 people there woulda got it in. just thinkin outloud.

I'm aiming on being there no later than 8pm. I would be there earlier, but my wife has a final to take that will inhibit the process a bit. At any rate, we need to hammer out a place to try and meet up and say hi.

I realize some of us wont want to get out of line, so maybe we should just meet there and make sure we all wear something the others will recognize like a piece of masking tape on the shoulder with SHH written on it...

Yeah, I know it's tacky, if you have any better ideas throw them out there...

I had the same issue. I went through 4 people before one finally called back and said he would cancel stuff to go. I was just like finally someone that will go.

I looked on fandango.com here to see what (if any) movies were playing in the Imax theater before the advanced screening. It's showing that there is a 7:00 p.m. showing of Kung Fu Panda, which is only 90 minutes long. So my guess for when they would let us in to sit would be 9:00 p.m. at the earliest.

I know that I want to get there by at least 8:00 p.m., but I'm not sure how much earlier than that. My sister's my ride, and I'm not sure yet whether or not she's going to want to stand in line for 2 or more hours.

Also, I've never been to an Imax theater. Where's going to be the best place to sit?

Well I wasn't going to get in line before 8... I have a problem sitting still and being removed from my cell phone. As far as where to sit. Ideally you dont want to be in the front.
