I only know him from Cinderalla Man, his role wasnt that big but he did a good job. I'd like him for Soap.

I hope he takes it! I thought of him once for Jigsaw, but dismissed the idea because he wasn't "pretty" enough to play the beaut. Whether it's SOAP, JIGSAW or anyone else, Paddy Considine would be a major upgrade for this film. We just may get our BATMAN BEGINS yet.

Paddy Considine is up there with the talents of Christian Bale and Daniel Day-Lewis. He has been dubbed by many the British De Niro (similar to Day-Lewis). Anyone interested in this actor should check out DEAD MAN'S SHOES, A ROOM FOR ROMEO BRASS, and IN AMERICA.

Yeah, once I looked up to see what his face on Google, it made total sense he was offered the part of Detective Soap.

Well he was quite a crazy character in Hot Fuzz, and many people in England see him as an exceptionally talented actor, so this is great news IMO.
