Especially in high school. Up close, I couldn't stand him, he was such an arrogant jock but from a distance, I use to be infatuated with him. It was all lust of course, nothing deeper than that.

That's pretty much it for me too. If a woman I can't stand is really beautiful, I just think "too bad she's so obnoxious - what a waste".

Hollywood loves the concept of the love-hate relationship a bit too much. It seems that any two people that can't stand each other invariably end up in bed together in most movies.

Oh yeah big time, an ex of mine, when we broke up it was pretty brutal when it came to screaming matches, which made it difficult becasue the physcial side of things was never the problem with us so while we would fight about how we hated each others guts there was still the attraction on both sides
