Forgot to mention: me and my friends had SM2 sunglasses and watches. We had alot of people in Spidey shirts and one guy in a suit too.![]()
(And I had my old Marvel Universe shirt under my hooded sweatshirt, which I've weared in almost every Marvel movie.)The theater was packed, but I'll have to see this movie again because the audience ruined the experience for me. I don't mind when the audience is somewhat rowdy, but when it carries over into the movie, to the extent that it ruins the scenes because people are calling the characters names and laughing everytime any character shows any signs of crying, it's pretty much a lost cause.
My audience was good during the intentionally comedic moments but they sucked during the rest of the movie.
I thought it was one of the worst superhero movies I have ever seen. It was a terrible let down. I think way too many people were involved in the development and production of Spiderman 3. Too many peoples ideas or something. It was really bad, and the entire audience felt the same way. About 30-40 people left before the credits and I didn't hear any clapping. Everyone laughed at the parts that weren't meant to be funny. I was really let down.
This is so true. When I saw the second film the crowd didn't seem that into the movie and I think that's one of the reasons why I was initially iffy about it.
I had a great audience that helped add to the experience to the midnight showing I went to. People cheered and laughed when the usher came to announce that the movie was going to start. None of the people at the showing went to were dressed like Spider-Man, but quite a few were wearing Spider-Man shirts.
The crowd I went to laughed and cheered in the right places -- particularly the emo Peter dance moves, the Jazz Club scene (well, I thought it was meant to be both hilarious and sobering) and the JJ Jameson scenes. A couple of people gasped when Peter hit MJ and/or when MJ kissed Harry.
But when the credits rolled, people applauded -- the majority of the people enjoyed it, but some of them didn't. But when me and my friends walked out to the lobby (there were 3 additional auditoriums in my theater that had the midnight showing as well) where people were discussing their thoughts on the movie, some *****ebag yelled out "SUCKED!" for everyone else to hear.
I was livid and for a moment, I wanted to find the guy and punch his lights out. But otherwise the audience experience I had was great.
Indeed Nice to see someone comment againHoly nostalgia, Batman. Seeing some of the old faces in here who never post any more.

Damn wish I could of experienced thatI just got back from a 7pm showing. The showing was sold out and the next couple of showings were sold out as well. The crowd was pretty talkative throughout the movie. For instance, one kid yelled out "****" when MJ kissed Harry. A lot of the kids laughed at the funny scenes (when Emo Peter was walking down the street struting his stuff) and also at the dramatic scenes (when Peter was crying). I also laughed at the drama parts too. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing? Anyway, the movie wasn't exactly up to par as the first two, but it was still fun. I give it a B-/C+.
Time flies when you having funCan’t believe it’s been 14 years lol
