So it seems that all the reports of 'audience tests' and a 'lack of action' are false; Sony has not performed any audience tests for SM3 yet. I had a feeling that this was going to be found as BS, it would have been way too early for a test screening yet. [PS. I wasn't too sure if this should be in the spoilers forum, but this forum is more active anyhow.]

yes thanks for the news flash

who ever started this rumor should be dragged out on the street and beaten rodney king style

Yeah, definitely saw this one coming.

This is the first I'm hearing of this rumor. I knew they went to do reshoots but I didn't hear any rumor about a screening. Besides, the movie wrapped shooting 2 months ago. That's not enough time to get this movie out and ready to be screened.

That is another example of terrible showbiz journalism. Since when a movie that barely finished principal photography, still has reshots to do and has most of its post-production ahead of it already gets tests screenings?

haha gold goblin i just now noticed the add on to ur av....hahah chuckin a bomb at harry...haha

First Time I've heard about audience tests. What is this about???

Some paper started a rumor, WHICH IS FALSE, about SM3 test audiences saying that the movie was lacking action.

Sony has been contacted, and the rumors are officially false.

I wouldn't mind being part of that audience if this rumour was true though:)

I want to wait until May 4th, when it is a fully-finished and fully-edited movie.

A whole movie.

Yeah I know but that will be a twice for me.

If suddenly, a completely finished copy of the DVD fell right in front of you, hypothetically of course, would you watch it, or wait 'til May for the theater experience?

A completely finished Spider-Man 3 DVD.

The answer of course, is YES.

Considering it's the full movie and not a ripoff or anything.

Of course. I mean, this is a complete fantasy. A totally finished DVD. It would be tempting, but I'd try to wait.

I'd watch it, then go with a friend, and call everything that happens, just to tick him/her off.

^Heh. That would be nice. I always like to do that.

It was weird... I went to see Saw 2 with two friends of mine, and one of my friends and I called EVERYTHING that happened.

It was just that, weird.

i'd just hold a private screening at my house, charging up to $500 for the REAL rabid fanboys.

so smart am i.
