Avatars?

I'm bracing myself for the flame-like replies questioning my intellect in response to this post, but I have to ask. I've looked all over the board, in the FAQ, so on and so forth and... maybe I'm just blind and missed it somehow...but...

When do you gain the ability to display an avatar? Is it at a set post-count or something?

You must had missed looking in tech forum and AR right, you need to hit a certain amount of posts to earn a avatar
