Geez, the animation in Avengers Assemble isn't nearly as bad as some people here are making it out to be. It's not the best, but it's not that bad I'd say it's more "average" than anything.

 

I can't fault Kirk too much for cheating. An unwinable test is messed up even though I get the reasoning for it. He cheated in both universes so I can only guess their are a ton of other criteria to consider when appointing a captain.

Kirk also works as a leader because he has an awesome crew with the best damn second-in-command anyone can ask for. If Marvel wants to keep Tony as the leader than they are going to have to make his teammates likable and good enough to make up for his shortcomings. Unfortunately, Man of Action aren't in to writing likable heroes.

So EMH wasn't cancelled, and a new Avengers show titled Avengers Assemble that's stylistically similar to Ultimate Spider-Man didn't happen? I'm not sure exactly what the guy was wrong about.

The animation,the character designs,and the back ground art for the cell animated parts of that introduction trailer for the MARVEL HEROES game is far superior to that of AVENGERS ASSEMBLE and slightly better than ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN.

 

The new ultimate spider-man episodes shows proves that it and avengers assemble are indeed in the same universe so which shows that EMS is cancelled and jeph still did what he wanted and that is creating a new universe. I said when the used the same voice actors of cause it's the same place.

Give me a ****ing break. No it's not. A couple parts looked neat, but calling it superior is a stretch. Those are just snippets of animation with virtually no dialogue. And yet by that alone OMG that's so much better than Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man.

Haters will say anything that comes to mind in order to trash Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man.

Do you even know what you are talking about? I was SPECIFICALLY talking about the VISUAL STYLE (animation,character designs,back ground designs,coloring,and shading) of the animation and art from that trailer NOT as a whole finish product. Those snippets of animation shows how you can do animation cheaply and still make it look good.

 

How much did that sequence cost Blade X? How much would it cost to do a series in that style? Enlighten us, please.

 

Considering that the animation had a number of still shots (like in a lot of anime and in a couple of scenes from the AA cartoon) as a way to cut down the cost of animation (and still manage to look good), the cost to make a series using that animation style shouldn't be any more expensive than either USM or AA. How much? I have no idea. However, I do know that there are a number of tricks that can be used to make a less expensive cartoon look damn good.

 

That sequence looks almost as cheaply animated as Avengers Assemble
Don't see why one is better

 

Character designs,back ground designs,coloring,and the right use and placement of shadows (along with some parts of the animating being really smooth and well animated) made that animated sequence look better than AA.

 

Now imaging a full blown budget of those types of animation would make marvel's animation more fascinating just like DC animation's and legend of korra's. which also shows that Asians are the best in animation and Marvel should really get into that it would be awesome.

Anyway, gokujin compared a video game cutscene, those probably have a bigger budget for one cutscene than people making a show have for making one episode

 

The trailer looks okay.
My problem is that it lacks a stylistic unity; there is about 2-3 different types of animation within it, which makes it jarring. If they had decided on one, I would have no complaint, but, due to the inconsistency, it looks like a demo reel.
