Which series do you like better.

    Young Justice: 46 episodes.
Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes: 52 episodes.

    Avengers had the better writing/Stories

Young Justice had the better animation/character designs

Love both but if I could give one of these shows another season it would be Avengers: EMH.

EMH at least had an actual ending and not a dumb, poorly written death or cliffhanger.

That's kinda hard. Avengers EMH season 1 is one of the best superhero shows since Justice League, but Season 2 was a chaotic mess.

Where Young Justice season 1 was solid enough, but didn't have the same epic, big time feel, because these weren't the World's Mightiest Heroes, they were the sidekicks. Season 2 was a big step in the right direction, and went a long way toward fulfilling the promise of this version of the DCU.

Comparing them at their strongest, Avengers season 1 vs Young Justice Season 2, Avengers wins; nothing else measures up.

I'd say Season 2 of Young Justice was the epitome of a chaotic mess. A forced timeskip. Way too many characters. Lead characters getting shoved aside until the very end. A stereotypical Blue Beetle. A lame character death. Season 2 was incredibly flawed.

Young Justice "had me at hello". I gave Avengers EMH a try after enjoyng the live action movie so much and was let down.

    Young Justice.

I liked Avergers: EMH but quality was not consistent throughout the series.

See, my problem with Avengers EMH was that the characters weren't likable. Like whenever someone got into danger, my heart wasn't racing thinking, "Oh no! Are they going to die?" The sort of "tender moments layed on the cheese every time. Not like YJ didn't have cheesy interpersonal stories but not as heavily as Avengers.

However, I agree with the sentent that it felt more like a superhero show. YJ is about coming of age and is more of a drama, while Avengers has the in your face action and larger than life threats to the world where they really seemed like the world's mightiest heroes.

Still, I enjoyed YJ more and felt more sad when it ended. I sopped caring after the Skrull stry arc ended in Season 2 of EMH. It was so exciting and climactic and then it felt like that were tossing around random plots to fit a bunch of new characters into the story. And then an even more random "final boss battle".
