None of that mitigates any of the glass in her cannon though. ;) It makes her harder to hit but when hit the glass will shatter. The same as hiding or disguising a glass makes it harder to hit but the effect will be the same when you find it. She could still get shot in her sleep by a kid with a gun while many other characters have a level of persistent durability for all situations that makes them plastic, rock or adamantium cannons rather than glass.

Yep she's power tier in offensive capabilities, but civilian tier (or whatever the lowest tier is called) in terms of durability. One lapse in focus against a power tier or even top tier character (which she's prone to) and she's dead.

I regarded durability very highly when discussing power levels, but most people don't seem to.

Piss off purple man! Hey Meik, cut his hands off bro.

Korg was a BLAST, I enjoy him more and more each time I watch Thor: Ragnarok.

True, she needs to be aware of a threat to deflect it.

However, she was able to deflect weapons that incapacitated , severely wounded and nearly killed Vision who is part Vibranium, (although clearly a lot less than many believed).

The same is true for Dr Strange. He's mortal, but capable of standing up to Thanos ( for a short time) much better than Hulk did at the start of IW. For all his durability he got flattened very quickly.

I don't think inherent durabilty should be the main determinant of a character's power tier.

Not THE main determinant, but it should definitely be one of the main ones.

Still, I agree that she should be Powerhouse Tier, she would SMASH everyone in the Top Tier.

Why am I not surprised that a day after the biggest MCU movie releases, with universe shattering moments, the main topic of conversation in the spoiler thread is still about superhero power levels :P

I think Vision looks a lot less powerful after IW than many people previously supposed. Thor is clearly a lot more powerful than he, with Stormbreaker he should be sitting a lot higher up.

I think he reason is less powered in IW is because he gets injured early on, we never see him in full strength

That's fair, but this film will be talked about for years to come.

I honestly think its a real game changer and some critics just cant handle it. Has any film successfully juggled such a big cast so successfully? In terms of writing and storytelling it smashes the Hobbit films.

But also its such a tone change for the MCU, the bad guy totally wins - yet he's still a compelling character.

As many have pointed out, that scene with the kid, after the snap is quite intense.

So here's my theory so far for Avengers 4...

For starters, I think we can safely assume that Doctor Strange has a plan. He wouldn't bother pointing out only one successful outcome, unless he was going to then put that plan into action.

Now Thanos has the time stone, so theoretically could see all possible attacks coming in the future. Which means the secret to beating him would lie in the past - Preventing his victory from coming to pass. And I think Doctor Strange knows this.

We can also safely assume, based on set photos for the next film, time travel will be a factor in the next movie.

I reckon we're going to see the remaining Avengers traveling through time (possibly worked out by Pym and his multiverse science). We've always been told how closely Antman and Doctor Strange were linked and I think we'll see that pay off.

So I think we'll see the heroes travelling to major moments in the MCU's history, either collecting infinity stones, following clues left by Doctor Strange etc, in order to prepare themselves for Thanos' arrival.

And I think the title will be 'Avengers 4: Secret War", because it's a war being waged secretly in the past.

ALTERNATE THEORY: This one is more out there, but I was also thinking, given the Soul Stone doesn't really kill people, it just traps them in an alternate reality, what if the remaining Avengers in Infinity War are in fact the ones trapped in the soul stone?

Whatever Strange saw, in the future where they win, it has to feature Tony - why else give up the time stone to save him ? Tony is the key.

Unlesssssss, my alternate theory is true... And Tony is in fact trapped in the soul stone, along with the others. It would add more weight to Strange's last line of "I'm sorry Tony, this was the only way..."

Can someone explain the end where Thor stabs Thanos. And Thanos does something and somehow talks to young Gamoroa ? Was he in the soul stone. And then he snapped his fingers and disappeared.

And also, I didnt understand the scene where Thanos is floating on water and gets the soul stone. How did he get there ? Im confused by that.

That sequence at the end with the heroes dying was really emotionally exhausting, but did anyone else cry at Spider-man's death? The way Peter pleaded that he didn't wanna go was heartbreaking.

Also, the way Thanos killed Gamora was really sick. That was a really unsettling scene to watch.

Yeah, I definitely had the sting in my eyes from Peter's scene. It was heartbreaking, and I think we're definitely going to see the impact that has on Tony in the next film. Personally I think we're gonna see Tony sacrificing himself to bring him back, because that would be a great way to end Tony's arc, as well as propel Peter into an interesting character position for his next film. It would be interesting to see Tony play the Uncle Ben role in his evolution as Spider-Man, as well as maybe have him step up as a scientist etc.

This one's rather vague. It could have something to do with the stone. Or it could've just been in Thanos's head. I'd say door number two is more likely.

The Soul Stone brought him there. Sacrificing Gamora was the test he had to pass to gain the stone, he passed, therefore the stone revealed itself to him.

He got it by sacrificing Gamoroa. A soul for a soul. He sacrificed Gamoroa and got the soul stone as a result.

The audience at my cinema already gasped and went quiet when Thanos plunged a blade into Tony and we thought he was gonna die. I am pretty sure any true death scene by Tony is going to have a huge impact on the audience.

Yeah, I feel like they've been planting those scenes for a while, going back to the first Avengers. Everything Steve said about him not making the sacrifice play, and then Avengers 2, his worry about losing his friends. Then in Infinity War, having to actually see Peter disappear (basically a surrogate son), I think will have a huge impact on him. Having him die in a truly selfless way would be a natural end for that character.

Time will tell, but I'm going to go with Tony or Cap getting the gauntlet in part 2 and re-setting the universe.

OMG I thaught it would be character developement... That could be true.
Emotional scenes were Peter/Gamorra, Spidy/Tony, Thor/Rocket and Wanda/Vision for me.

My sister went "Oh no!" She's 40.
