Some Jim Aparo stuff. Just recently realised he passed away back in 2005. RIP, and Godspeed mr. Aparo.
Maybe mostly known for his Batman stuff, and often with the Brave and Bold DC moniker. As a kid in the 70s he was up there with Neal Adams and Jack Kirby.

Below are the issues I remember owning back in the day. There were more, but googling and trying to "borrow" pics doesn't always work, unfortunately..
I think the red and yellow Kung-Fu guy was called Richard Dragon (during the 70s Kung-Fu craze, of course DC wanted some of that. And of course went for the obvious blonde white guy.. ).

Below is a special one for me: The end of the Paul Kirk/Manhunter story which started in 1975 I think. Aparo did the cover, but Walt Simonson did the actual art inside during the whole run.
Simonson was also one of the favourite artists, maybe the top one. My avatar is of course not a coincidence. Probably still my all time favourite DC story, in which Batman got involved closer to the end. Recommended reading.

That sounds great. And no, I haven't read that one. Denny O'Neil has written a ton of great stuff, so I definitely should check this one out. And The Question is an awesome character, but I assumed Richard Dragon was more or less a 70s Kung-Fu flair thing and was gone in the 80s.All kinds of old school awesome.
Re: Richard Dragon... Have you ever read the Denny O'neil Question run? Dragon shows up there and is a presence as an important figure in The Question's life until the end of the series. It's probably one of the most amazing and underrated series of all time. I always say, when the cool kids were reading Sandman in High School, my go to complex comic book that touched on human nature and philosophy was The Question.

Thanks for the tip, and bonus points for that comparision to Sandman (even though I love the parts I've read from that book).
