If they would just do a rated R wolverine we wouldnt be having this discussion
No, it's not, as Stewart has done an excellent job of portraying Prof. X, and hasn't let his own self get in the way of the character.
Well, I think that they're afraid that they'll lose a lot of potential earnings doing that. They will lose out on a lot of money from people who are not old enough to watch it, weak-stomached people, people who just don't like a lot of unnecessary bloodshed, etc.
I Agree actually it is more tom rothman i am done with fox did well before him x men 1 and x men 2 were before him
I could see a new face in the roll. I've had enough of seeing Jackman signature pose (cradling the dead woman he loves in his arms screaming "Nooo!!!" into the air), and can we please see a savage killer Wolverine?
They should have went with Glenn Danzig to begin with.
Yeah , Glen Danzig . Great actor , lol.
Visually, yeah. Talent wise....eh.
Another pearl of wisdom from the Hype.
I really can't imagine anyone else as Wolvie now.
There are very few actors that are definitive for me. And even if they were, I wouldn't mind a new interpretation for that comic character anyway.
I'm kind of done with Wolverine in general, for the time being.
Yeah but they need to understand the term superhero, doesnst always have to be connected to children. A lot of comic books, especially now, arent meant for children. A character like Wolverine, isnt meant for children. He's a guy that has spent over 200 years slaughtering people with 16 inch claws that burst from his hands. he doesnt wise crack his villains and tie them up for police to find, nor does he where a flashy suit with his insignia on his chest. He's a bad dude. And this movie i feel finally got to tap into what Wolverine is really about. He's not a nice guy. He's a mutant, that'll kill you if you cross him
Fair enough. But remember that Fox is a business. So is Marvel, so I'm sure that even they wouldn't do it too dark. They want to maximize their profit. Can't really blame them for that.
We already got that in the past X Movies. Origins didn't explore anything new about the character. I was expecting to see a bad Wolverine that got his hands dirty, a character that wouldn't be likable at all at first. What we got is a Wolverine that always gives us a worried look, gets air sick and who's just a throwaway experiment.
yeah but doing that they are doing a disservice to the fans/character/and comics in general
Also the main reason why Logan should of been more like a animal is the line stryker said in X men 2.Logan you were always an animal i just gave you claws seeing how rough he was in x men 1 origins he really should of been brutal.
I'm done with movies around Wolverine.
But I won't mind seeing Hugh in a shorter role in a team movie.
As much as i love Wolvy, I'd rather see another X-men film before a Wolverine Sequel. Im starting to miss the team
I've been missing them since 2006.
Yeah and this time they need to develop EVERYONE"S character and not just Logan
Hahah, yeah that'll happen.
I'm kind of getting sick of Wolverine as well. I was excited for every other character BESIDES Wolverine in this film. Four films is a bit much, and now we're already zooming for five.
So, I take it that having quality standards disqualifies people from being "real fans?" The only way to be a "real fan" is to accept it every time Fox stabs us in the butt? Enjoy being a "real fan" then, because I would rather be a whiny impostor on the internet.
