Bad trailers...good movies

You ever see a trailer for a movie and think it's going to be bad...then watch it and really like it? Maybe you watched it because you were bored, good word of mouth, or with a group.


The original Pirates of the Caribbean..god, I thought the trailer looked cheesy. "You like pain? Try wearing a corset!"

Saw it because of great word-of-mouth. Ended up loving that movie.

I remember seeing the trailer for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and thinking it was going to be garbage. That one surprised me.

The Emperor's New Groove. The trailer looked stupid, but the movie itself is very funny and clever.
