BAHUMBUG! I need help with AIM.

Yeah, stupid me, a few months ago, forgot my AIM password and I do have it saved in there so I can just login whenever I want to without typing it.

But I'd like to know it, and check my mail inside my AIM mail account. I have 2 messages but can't check them because I don't know my password. One of them has been there since December and the other came recently. They're probably very important ones, with my luck. Some girl: "Respond to this and I'll go out with you!"

See? I'm screwed.

Anyway, so I just wanna see what they are and KNOW my password. So I fill out those annoying ass image vertifications and my active email address, and then it asks me a question I had it set to or whatever.
Now this is my fault in a way. I had it set to "Who is your favorite singer?"

Now any idiot that knows me, knows it's Weird Al. So why put that? I put something like "Anyone good" or something along those lines.

Is there anyway I can get my password back without deleting my AIM account? I have too many friends, and I like my screename.

Haha. No. I said something completely stupid and pointless. I actually just pasted something of AIM's website, but then again, you had already tried it.

I want to think positively, but as a Tech Support agent I can tell you first hand one thing. We always ask the SECRET QUESTION as to Verify Security, if the agent you get from AIM is anything like a COVAD TECH, or a XBOX TECH, you will need the correct answer to get help with the Password. If not, I hope you know some other Security Information you can use to verify who you are.

Not TOTALLY Screwed, but pretty much. Tech Agents usually ask, Secret Question/Answer, Username(Gamertag if it is an XBox Live Issue), Phone #, Address, Et Cetera. However, usually you are only allowed by Policy to give them so many chances at messing up the questions to various answers. Depending on the Security policy at AIM it could be even more stricter. At Microsoft you need 5 Personally Idenifiable Details/Security answers only the End User would know the answer to.

Actually, AIM's website says that they do not give personal help so I'm not even sure you could call them.
