My console recently was banned, adn i was wondering if any achievement i have gotten since it was banned will still count if i switch my hard drive to an unbanned console?

Your console can get banned? What does that do?

What if i use a data transfer cable to transfer my profile and achievements to another HDD will i still have them?

From what the article suggests, your profile has been corrupted to a degree by the banning. So I would assume that, no matter where your profile goes, it will still lose the achievements you've earned since the console was banned.

Oh, I didn't know about that. I thought it just cut from playing online. So, you can't buy things from XBLA after being banned?

It wont even connect you to live. You get a message saying you were banned. That's what people get for pirating games.

So someone must have had a modded system. hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't get how people can pirate every single game they play, and then when layoffs happen en masse at game companies they act surprised. Why the hell do they think this is happening? If you don't support something, they stop making it. It's not a hard concept. I'm sure no one is totally innocent of it, but I usually buy at least one game a month, if not more (not counting the slow months after Christmas). I understand if you don't have enough money to do that, but Jesus, this is pretty much the one industry where the effects of piracy are immediate and visible.

Yea, if you dont have the money to play/purchase the games you want, get a cheaper hobby.

Pirates deserved to get banned.

It's a horrible practice that effects our hobby rather directly.

Are all these games new? If not then according to many publishers/developers you are part of the problem.

Also are these games retail disc based games? Where would you say the majority of your purchases are made? How many of these titles are form major developers? How many are from Indie developers?

Just wondering snice you brought up your game purchasing habits.
