We know that Apocalypse has the ability to raise the dead to serve him. We also know that recently in the comics, Banshee was resurrected as a Horseman. Then there was also the leaked Deadpool movie footage and talk of an X-Force film and Siryn is a big part of both of those.

I always figured that Holocaust would be Famine and Beast would become Pestilence but what if one of these was replaced with a familiar dead character. Also, keep in mind that Banshee was a prisoner in the Weapon X facility in X-Men: Origins so it's still possible that he may even be alive.

War is probably going to be Wolverine. He was a Horseman during The Twelve in the comics. He disappeared at the end of DOFP. We're told that the Horsemen are going to be familiar characters. He fits. This is in addition to Archangel being mentioned as a possibility for a Horseman by Kinberg.

So I guess this is my prediction now.

War = Wolverine
Famine = Banshee
Pestilence = Beast
Death = Archangel

Since we all know that this is going to be based upon multiple Horseman lineups, this actually really works. We have Archangel from Fall of the Mutants, Beast from Age of Apocalypse, Wolverine from The Twelve and Banshee from The Apocalypse Twins.

This works since these can all be familiar characters to the audience as opposed to introducing Holocaust, Abraham Keiros or Polaris who the general audience won't recognize or make a big deal about Channing Tatum playing Gambit only to make him a villain.

And anything that leads to Siorise Ronan playing Siryn is a plus in my book.

I don't think that will happenable at all.
But. It's a powerful dynamic when Xavier has to battle against 3 of his closest friends.

Not a fan if angel though. There's no familiarity.

I liked Banshee in First Class, but I don't think they will bring him back.

Dead = Nope.

If they go this route it's much more likely for Havok to get the spot that a dead character like Banshee.

Also, not so sure I would say that Siryn is a "big part" of Deadpool and X-Force.

Sure, she and Deadpool had romantic feelings for each other, but I don't see that being used in the movies.

Sure, Siryn became a field leader of X-Force post Cable, but any X-Force we get, and that's if we get it, will be all about Cable as the leader.

At one point she even had a relationship with Warpath, but since he is a future character I don't see him being involved in any of these movies.

I will admit that having Banshee returned in 1983 would fix what I consider another timeline inconsistency in the fact that killing Banshee off obviously means that Siryn likely doesn't exist. I guess she could exist, but she would have had to have been born in 1964, which means she would be 19 years old in 1983. They could work this in to the story, but I just don't see it happening...

I was actually thinking if they did the raising the dead thing, that maybe the fact that we saw Banshee, Angel, Azazel, an Emma was a set up for them to become the horse men/women

I like this concept i can see this working.

For all those who complained about the contunity of X-men films you now want to create plot holes by bringing back First Class characters they killed off offscreen creating new contunity problems?

I will be shocked if Wolverine Isn't a horseman and at least 1 Isn't a new character to films used for power displays.

They're talking about Apocalypse raising those characters from the dead. How would that create plot holes or continuity problems?

they weren't just killed off, they were experimented on, an dissected,..ect

their body's were probably stored and preserved, almost reminiscent of the mummification process (which fits the Egyptian theme) so, even the fact that its 10 years later, wouldn't really matter

Out of all the First Class I liked Banshee the most. Real shame he was killed off

Banshee would be cool as a Horsemen. Maybe more of the dead mutants from First Class lie Azazael and girl-Angel

Yeah I'd figure the dead mutants become the new Horseman.

The thing about Banshee and the other mutants killed off-screen in DOFP is there would be like zero attachment from the audience if they ever see these mutants back from the dead as Apocalypse's horsemen. There wouldn't be much impact because X-Men First Class didn't really give much material for the casual viewers to really care about them. Compare them to the resurrection to Prof X/Cyclops/Jean, it would be like night and day. If Banshee/Tempest/Azazel/Riptide came back in Apocalypse as horsemen, the audience wouldn't have a big reaction. With Emma, I could see people/the fans being happy that they would resurrect her because she's Emma Frost, but story-wise, she didn't have a big impact to the series. The audience would be like "oh she's back" but are the audience gonna have the same reaction when they saw Professor X at the mid-credits of The Wolverine and when they saw Jean/Cyclops alive at the end of Days of Future Past, probably not.

totally agree.
making Beast into a horseman might work as well.
use his knowledge for pestilence naw mean

I think Wolverine would be the "Archangel" of the movieverse.

I care about Banshee. I was almost as annoyed by him allegedly dying off-screen as I was Newt in alien 3. Of all the characters in First class he had the most visually striking and interesting powers. Bring back Banshee I say!
