Well LA/Hollywood women are in the lead right now, they are as close to 100% plastic yet in the US......

You know, I've never had a problem with the women on the cover of SI. They're not stick figures (Kate Upton, anyone?) and that's the problem with other models in the industry is that they're unrealistically skinny (for example, the Victoria's Secret models are about 5'10" and weigh in at around 120 pounds. That's scary skinny and well below the healthy BMI weight). Kate Upton is curvy and voluptuous and doesn't apologize for it. Her body is more realistic than Kate Moss' or Miranda Kerr's.

Honestly, if women and girls insist on comparing their bodies to models, then the SI ones are the best choice.

Well LA/Hollywood women are in the lead right now, they are as close to 100% plastic yet in the US......

I'm not distracting from this issue but men have unrealistic expecations to live up to as well. It's just women get the shorter end of a short stick to begin with. No one can ever live up to society's expecations.

When does the SI Swimsuit issue come out? Tomorrow? It's normally around the 14th right?

Not interested in seeing Barbie though. It's not like she looks very realistic. Am interested to see who is featured in the magazine however. I'm guessing Nina Agdal will probably be in it again, and maybe Irina Shayk and Kate Upton.
