Baron Mordo Casting/Speculation Thread

I guess Mordo will play a big part in the Dr. Strange movie, probably as main antagonist or in a combo with Dormammu as antagonists.
The suggestions I've read so far were
Bryan Cranston
Christoph Waltz
Tom Hardy
I could live with any of those choices.
any ideas?

I feel like after just narrowly missing out on Malekith, they might que him up again. If not in this role, than in another one, soon. He would be really good either as Mordo or Ulyssess Klaw in a Black Panther movie.

yep, they have a history doing that. I guess that makes Tom Hardy the frontrunner

I'd say mikkelsen dodged a bullet on that one. Some schmo off the road could have played Malekith.

After seeing the bullet he dodge with the lackluster role he might have lost interest in being a villain in a Marvel movie.

One actor I always thought reminded me of Baron Mordo from the animated series is Tom Selleck.

I imagine Mordo to be in his 50s to 60s so Tom Selleck could work.

Only other person I'd like is Viggo Mortensen.

Edgar Rameriz is a bit young, for the role, in my opinon. Tom Selleck needs to get a superhero movie role, but I don't think Mordo is right for him. Mads Mikkelsen would probably be my top choice.

Either way, I'd honestly rather not have Mordo be the first villain at all, but I guess he could work.
