They made a big deal out of this video, and it had regular rotation on MTV summer of '89. Even had a mini doc. on the making of it.

The video at the time was really cool I remember sitting entranced at Prince's wierd get up and all the Vicky Vale clones dancing.

It's a good this is one Prince song not featured in the movie, it would've been a disaster.
