Batman and James Bond 007 in "Knight of Shadows"

I posted this in the Fan Fiction forum but got very few responses, so I thought I'd move it here:

I'm collaborating with a friend on a Batman/Bond storyline. However, I need help on how to team the two of them up--what kind of threat/storyline could bring them together? I definitely want to use Talia al Ghul, for one thing.

Also, as a point of reference, I'm imagining the Nolan/Bale Batman and the Daniel Craig James Bond; therefore, I'll try to make the story as realistic as possible, within reason, of course.

How about a Bond villain flees to Gotham City to lay low. The Bond villain pops up on the agencies radar after getting involved in some underworld activity. The agency sends Bond to Gotham. Bond discovers his villain teams up with a Batman villain (Riddler? Joker? Black Mask?) Thus getting Batman involved.

I don't know. I just came up with that in 5 minutes.

Hmmm...your ideas have merit, but I should probably have made my initial post more detailed so as to show everyone the direction I want to take with this.

*I want the plot to involve Tali al Ghul, the new leader of the League of Shadows, out for revenge on Bruce Wayne/Batman for the death of her father, Ras.

*Definite locations include London and somewhere in the Middle East. Possible locations include Japan, if we can fit it into the story, and maybe Gotham City.

*Another must is a night-time Tumbler chase through downtown London.

*Side villains who could potentially be BOTH Bond AND Batman villains are possible, such as Deadshot. But remember, they'd have to be some lesser, low-key kind of villains. Bond movies have nearly always worked with multiple villains and "Begins" and "TDK" pulled it off well so no reason to limit ourselves here.

*Bond would find out Bruce/Batman's true identity at some point or the other.

*Some scene involving Bruce Wayne and Bond at a casino together sticks out in my mind.

Anything that incorporates at least some of these ideas would be really appreciated. Basically, what I MOST need is a means/reason to draw both characters together. That is really the hardest part.

first thing that comes to mind is to bring bruce wayne to London... have wayne ent. partnering up with some british company. the event is ceremoniously concluded by bruce's yacht making the first official delivery of 'something'... say, wayne ent. microchips for a state of the art military satellite systems... whatever... anyway, the standard dinner party ensues on the boat later in the evening-enter 007 in his usual manner, tux and martini. he's there investigating intelligence reports that a terrorist/criminal organization plans to hijack the shipment of microchips and or kidnap the passengers. after some classic dialogue between bruce and bond... the league of shadows storms the vessel... not after microchips of course, but after bruce. while bond fights them off, bruce slips away and dons his bat gear to return and combat the attackers.... and you can go anywhere from there... say the LoS got away with sensitive microchips, VIP hostages-bond thinks these items are ransom, batman knows they're leverage to surrender himself)... something that forces both bond and batman to follow them to wherever you wanna take them.

I have one suggestion, you can use Bond's attraction for Talia you know where she turns up at the Gotham Casino and meets Bond.
