BvS Sequels Batman and Superman stories you'd like to see in the series

Your basic speculation thread, but focused on independent storylines from both franchises you'd like to see in the series:

Death in the Family- The original story does include both heroes, and adapting this story in a Batman/Superman movie would allow the, to circumvent the whole "Why doesn't Superman help Batman" thing. It'd need an update and probably a better overall plot to keep Superman involved. If they were to feature some kind of Joker/Luthor team up, this would be the way to make sure the antagonists live up to their potential. Imagine watching the movie where Robin dies and we see Superman's anguish at failing his friend. Heck, you could even through in Supergirl and tease her death from COIE before pulling the bait-and-switch.

Search for Lois Lane- the story where Lois was kidnapped for weeks and Superman had to call in Batman to find her while suffering from kryptonite poisoning. I don't necessarily need the poisoning story, but seeing Batman actually do something Superman can't and analyze how gritty and frightening his world is in comparison will just about justify any team-up between the two. However, I feel there does need to be an element of trust between the two before this scene happens, so it's definitely sequel material.

It's probably too soon since Batman Begins, but I want a true Year One telling. I'd like to see a large amount of the movie told from Gordon's perspective. They'll probably tell a lot of that story in the Gotham television show, but that isn't really acceptable in my eyes.

hmmm... yeah i don't want another Batman origin film for a long time. Batman Begins is pretty perfect to me (despite the non supernatural Ra's)

none of these would be straight adaptations, but there is good material there to base a movie on.

for another solo Superman, i need to see a movie with Brainiac and Lex as the villains. That HAS to be the story of the next solo Superman

would love to see a public enemies adaptation were lex luthor becomes president and issues a bounty on superman, although the relationship of henry's superman and Jessie's lex needs to be established more for this

Would like to see some kind of ultimate catastrophe in a Justice League film in which Superman sacrifices himself to stop Doomsday, the rest of the League comes out triumphant in the end, but at the cost that they are all taken captive by Luthor, or Brainiac, or somebody, with the exception of Batman who is presumed missing, leaving Gotham and Metropolis recovering from a catastrophe, Gotham cut off from the rest of the world and the following two solo movies are No Man's Land and Return Of Superman, in which both heroes return and, free the rest of the League in the second JL

I think those stories would work thematically because right now, the world is divided over whether these heroes are needed or even wanted, so to have a big catastrophe, and to have everybod feel they were abandoned by the heroes, only to have them return against all odds to save the day, would really make the world truly appreciate their presence.

I was feeling the same thing about No Man's Land and Knightfall, both would make for fantastic Batman films within the DC Universe that the character will now occupy, but both stories are too similar to Dark Knight Rises. I really like DKR, I just feel both stories were a bit rushed in it, when they could both be really fleshed out, seeing Batman slowly worn down, physically, and mentally by Bane, finally broken, and returning to conquer Bane and save Gotham from itself during No Man's Land, and a great way to include several villains in cameos and supporting roles, they could make three movies on those two storylines, but people would claim it's a DKR ripoff, unfortunately.

One thing for sure both batman and superman need more diffrent supernatural , inteligent and strong oponents in future... for solo, cross over and JL movies...

Justice League sequel would also be nice...

A bigger and better rematch battle between Justice League vs Superman(bluee cryptonite, mind control), where new and old ways of fighting a Kryptonian would be shown for all the Justice League memebers...


Only know one thing, dont say who do you cast and for what role and make the trailer a mystery showing only small stuff not all villians and plot.... only some battles, only a glipsy on action scenes and tech or better dialogs cut into monologs.
