I don't see how this is anymore stupid than other inter company crossovers featuring Batman BTW (ie: Spawn/Batman, Batman vs. Predator).

A fictional urban ninja teaming up with....a team of fictional urban ninjas.

Seems like a good fit and it's nice that it ties into the excellent IDW Turtles ongoing.

Looks fun.
The turtles have a nice history of crossing over stories, the one they had with Savage Dragon felt very natural.
I'm still waiting to see Raphael and Wolverine crossover.
