Batman: Arkham Asylum

That's very true, but at the same time that's kinda how the Joker is imo, he likes to sit back and watch or set a trap, he never actually does the fighting I guess.

That's the normal Joker though who can't really put up a fight. But this Joker? Come on!

Last boss was horrible, just horrible. I mean making Joker look like something that Todd McFarlane **** out in his spare time didn't really help either, but it was just bad. Not even really a boss fight at all

It would have been noce to have the Bane from Knightfall and they even did a nod to it after you die and Bane breaks your back. I guess I was able ignore this and didn't really mind.

I absolutely HATE what they did to Bane. It's bad enough that he is an underrated character and people think of him just as a big brute. I was hoping Rocksteady would be smart enough to make Bane closer to his comic version and make him intelligent. They instead went the Batman & Robin route

Is that really Rocksteady's fault though? Dini was the writer after all. At least he isn't as horrible as the Batman & Robin version. Bane is able to talk in complete sentences.

Lol. True! All he did was flail his arms, didn't even charge you like the other "mutants". Dang it, it's getting m,ore and more disappointing thinking about it! And the fingernails getting stuck...kinda weird too.

Especially considering... BANE ONCE BROKE KILLER CROC'S ARM!!!
That's right! TICK TOCK! THE CROC IS A BIG DUMB ROCK!

With those hands he also reminded me of a Tyrant from the Resident Evil games.

I didn't care much for the mindless Bane, but I could live with, but I just hated that he was just a copy and paste job of a sub-boss from earlier in the game. They could have at least done something different.

It was stupid. Joker was like "I have tremendous physical power but I'm just going to wave my arms at you a few times then let my goons attack you. Once they're dead, I'm going to turn around and mock the helicopter."

Hopefully Rocksteady hears these boss complaints and does a beeter job for the eventual sequel.

Hopefully, but putting any effort into them at all with be an improvement. You can't get much lower than this crap

Bane and the Joker fight are the only letdowns for me. Joker could've probably be a multilevel boss fight like suggested. Even just as normal Joker, hunting him through Arkham, avoiding traps, taking on goons, having to try to save Gordon during it all. They could've made it really challenging.

As for Bane, I'll give them a pass this time, considering how he's been used in the plot. He's probably been experimented on for months. He's got a new an experimental serum pumped into him, all he wants at this point is to hurt someone.

did anyone beat the second boss battle/confrontation of scarecrow? I get to bring the second box down and hide behind it and then I don't know what to do? What do you do next? Help, please?:csad:

Having fun completing the game on your own?

I can give them a pass on the crap Joker fight since they rendered Batman's world so perfectly with so many subtle easter eggs.

Next time, though I won't let it slide.

Oh, a 3rd letdown. Almost forgot it. You can't use the Armored suit in the main game. :down

I really want to see all new bosses for the sequel. Riddler, Mad Hatter, Ras, Catwoman, Hush, Clayface. Actually have a boss fight with Croc. Maybe bring in Nightwing as a playable character. There is so much room to work with for the sequel.

Can't argue with that. Looks awesome too, amazing detail. I wish you could use it when you start another game.

I liked the bossfight. It gave me a classic feel to it from old goodies such as the Crash Bandicoot bossfights etc. However, I'd still prefer to fight regular Joker in a more original way.

Im debating getting this game, one question: is it worth the buy?

Absolutely. Even if you're not a huge batman fan it's a must buy. Tons of replay value and riddles to solve after you finish the game.

Don't know if it was known before, but it was a major letdown when I found out I could only use the armor in the challenge modes.

It wasn't known I don't believe. That was kind of a 'Huh?' type deal for me as well

If you are a die hard Batman fan then yes it's worth a purchase. The challenge rooms give a good amount of incentive to keep playing also.

However, at 7-9 hours the main story is short. Well...short for me.

doesn't it tell you that its just for use in the challenge maps??

I used it in the challange map and noticed no difference. It should be used in the main game.

When I got the trophy I said to myself "Why the **** couldn't I use this in the game?!?" I know Batman would have used it!
