Oh, a 3rd letdown. Almost forgot it. You can't use the Armored suit in the main game. :down

Can't argue with that. Looks awesome too, amazing detail. I wish you could use it when you start another game.

No kidding, what the hell were they thinking? Is it because the cut scenes are already pre-rendered based on the other suit?

It wasn't known I don't believe. That was kind of a 'Huh?' type deal for me as well

Heh, yeah. That's pretty much what I said in the first post.

They put that awesome suit in the game, and then you can't even use it during the main game. What the hell?

I was wondering how come there's no bio for Robin or Nightwing. Last I heard, They're pretty important characters in the Batman universe. More important than say Humpty Dumpty.

That would've been an aweful reason. I don't even understand why the cutscenes were pre-rendered in the first place. Why weren't all the cutscenes in-game?

Don't know if it was known before, but it was a major letdown when I found out I could only use the armor in the challenge modes.

I didn't like the armored suit anyway it was too much armor. He looked like Batman from JL when Vandall Savage took over the world but with way more armor.

That sucks there's no bios for them. I really hope they will be playable characters in a sequel. With the sales skyrocketing they should start immediately on a trilogy.

People are just terrified of using Robin (and, by extension, Nightwing) for some reason. I don't know why. Like people will be offended if they appear in the game at all, even if you can't play as them and they don't even have character models like the majority of the bio characters. It's ******ed.

sometimes you want things to look a little prettier...I didn't mind it at all

That's bs. I think Rocksteady would be open to the idea to use them somehow in the story and it would be a great way to take the next installment to another level adding playable characters and maybe even being able to drive the batmobile and fly the batplane. That would be epic.

I hope so. It just seems like since Nolan announced he'd never use Robin in the films, Robin's become some kind of non-entity that nobody other than the comics wants to touch.

Blame Schumacher. It's all his fault.

I think the next game should keep the idea of confining the game to a building or set of buildings. It's why I think either Wayne Manor or Wayne Enterprises would be best since they are sure to be full of ledges, secret passages, and the like to make the game super fun.

With Bane, mutants, Croc, and poison ivey it should be acceptable to use Robin, Nightwing, Huntress, Thalia etc. in this game and not even worry about Nolan's world.

As far as Nolan is concerned. Robin should be used like a pre-Barbara Oracle like character.
Scouting and information gathering using his hacking skills.

Bruce can train him and when he grows up he can take the NIGHTWING title

R'has and Talia should be the main badguys in the next game.

Imagine you are Batman fighting to take back Wayne Tech Industries or something like that where in the finale you have a duel with R'has on the roof of the Wayne Industries building.

He was created in the comics to appeal to kids, someone they can probably emulate instead of wanting to be Batman. I always prefer Batman to be working alone, but I didn't mind the animated series characters they put in, some really good stories came from having these sidekicks around. Hell, the Batman Beyond movie was mostly about the Tim Drake Robin.

If written well, Robin is an awesome character, whether it be Tim Drake or Dick Grayson.

Like I said earlier, TAS had some fantastic stories about Robin. "Robin's Reckoning" was one of the best stories of the entire series.

Gotham is perfect for the setting of the sequel. Banks, buildings, Mayne Manor. I think Riddler could be the main villian.

Who cares why they were created? Robin and Nightwing are great characters in their own right, and they even make more sense than any powered heroes' sidekicks. What did the Flash really need Kid Flash for? Nothing. What does Batman need Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl (at least) for? Backup. Dude's a normal guy and it never hurts to have a few other people around to help him out against the armed thugs he comes up against. Not to mention, including co-op with Robin or one of the other characters would open up all kinds of interesting new strategies for the stealth segments.

I used it in the challange map and noticed no difference. It should be used in the main game.

When I got the trophy I said to myself "Why the **** couldn't I use this in the game?!?" I know Batman would have used it!

I think you take less damage when you get hit, that's what I noticed at least

How do I set up that batcave homescreen thing? I want to check it out, but I don't know what to do...matter of fact I don't even really know what it is lol

Co-op, especially in this kind of game, would be amazing. I can already imagine a scenario where you have to split up, because you have to enter a sequence simultaniously at two different places, or the bomb goes off. Or save the other from a watery grave. While he's trapped in a room that fills with water, you have try to unlock it before he drowns. And that while fighting off goons.

That gets the adrenaline pumping. :D

"Hurry up! I've already got the water up to my ears!"

"Shut up! What the hell do you think I'm trying to do?! It's not like I'm knitting a sweater over here!" :cmad:

Haha, that would be fun. Yeah, a Gears of War-style co-op, where you occasionally have to each choose a separate path, would be awesome. Imagine something where you actually combine the stealth and freeflow combat gameplay styles. Like, Robin splits off to go upstairs in a prison cellblock or something and Batman has to take the direct route, straight through all the thugs. So Robin can throw batarangs or snatch people from gargoyles to help Batman out while Batman's on the ground just beating the s*** out of everyone he sees.
