Trust me the challenges are very difficult at first, I couldn't even get one medal on the first challenge, now I'm getting 3 on the extreme challenges.

About 3 days ago I complained how hard it was and someone on here said: PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT, and I didn't really believe it at the time because of how hard it seemed, but trust me...a few steady hours of playing and you can become a master at this game

ok thanks  imma practice tonight so i can finally get those things done :woot:
and imma find all of the riddler's challenges myself to prove myself to that smug bastard..:hehe::hehe:

always have trouble with my combos. I seem to get the thugs spread too far apart and then I miss one. Never really get more than 6 or 7 in a row. Is that just an in game issue as opposed to the challenges?

Any pointers?

Start off in a cluster of thugs and build up a bit of a combo before spreading them out. From what I've seen, the distance you can travel between hits increases with your combo number. I've gone like halfway across the room in Sewer Bat with a x10 or 11 combo. You also have to "steer" Batman, i.e. remember where people are and push your stick in their direction to make him close the distance between them.

I love how in Harvey's cell, the "VOTE DENT" resembles the virals from The Dark Knight

No problemo :) it's definitely possible, just keep at it.:word:

Ah, cool. That's a good map for fighting. That's where I got my 40+ combo trophy.

I love that map for fighting, it's so big and open, and they throw like 20 unarmed guys at you hahaha...come on? unarmed? That's not even a challenge for The Dark Knight:brucebat::hehe:

I loved how half his cell was perfectly neat and the other half was covered in graffiti and scratches. I only noticed that on my current play-through. :D

Yeah, it's great that they have that one round--the third, I think--that has a ton of regular thugs. No knife *****es, no cattleprod *****es, no special *****es at all, just a plain, ol'-fashioned bunch of thugs and a standing invitation to kick their asses.

Do mods ever delete posts? Because I could have sworn I had way more before?

Anyone know how to get the mano-a-mano trophy? how do you beat the titans without batarangs?

--dk7

You use the Explosive Bat Gel. Place it on the floor in an area and get the beast to run at you in that area. It tends to be easier if you do this after you beat up all the enemies. You can do it on Rumble in the Jungle.

The cut scene after Croc where Batman stands on a cliff and looks across to the city is so sad. I was thinking, "You poor bastard". :csad:

Does anyone check the visitors room after every boss encounter. The Joker has something new to say to you when you go in that room.

Awesome, I figured you had to use the gel.

Thanks for the heads up, I will give it a shot :)

Uh, I just tried to line the Titans up so they'd run into each other and then beat them into bloody pulps. My Batman is hardcore like that. :oldrazz:

Yeah, I did that on my first run. Some of the things he says are pretty funny. :)

I had heard about that, but forgot to check after every boss. I only saw the one after Harley.

Hanging around Harley's cell after you beat her is great. "Whadda you lookin' at?!" :funny:

The easiest way I did it was just to keep vaulting over him. Punch a few times, vault behind, punch, repeat. You just have to be quick and it doesn't take long to beat him down.

It would be a lot more fun to play as Joker if he had an equel arsonal to Batman:

Batarangs - Cards
Batclaw - Big Spring Loading Boxing Glove
Detective Mode - X-ray glasses that you can wear and WALK AROUND WITH!!
Grapple gun - Pistol
Sonic Rangs - Explosive Teeth

And that is all I can think of lol
