i have the one for Playstation 3 its a kickass game!!!!!!! im 79% done i am done with the storyline and i have found 200 of 240 riddler riddles, statues and other things so im almost done i already cant wait to start over i was actually hoping when i finished the storyline that i would be able to find all the villans in their "cages" hahaha

well tbh it did suck beating up the Joker ;_;

Best Batman game to date. The story, gameplay, etc truly exceeded my expections after following it's progress for months leading up to it's release. I still don't get bored with it most of the time, I've beaten it like 7 times and the Predator missions are always fun - I like setting new times. I loved the Riddles, most of them were quite challenging and made you think and retrace your steps. The gadgets were great too and made you feel like the Bat himself.

I really wonder how they're going to top it for the second game. Then again, sequel's are always bigger and better. BTW, there's a thread about the B:AA2 where talk about the first usually takes place. No big deal though, yours might just merged. :D

Amen to that

I just finished it again this week. Never gets old. Still as much fun as the first time I played it.

Agreed. I also still like doing the combat missions. Excluding Shock and Awe which I've only beaten once and all I needed from it really since the victory was oh so sweet after all the attempts at it, haha. :meanie:

How do I take out the two monsters in the Botanical Gardens?

Same strategy you used when you beat the first monster that Joker unleashed on you early in the game. Throw a batarang at them when they charge at you, then dive out of the way, and when they hit the wall and get stunned, attack them. You just have to get your timing right when attacking them individually, because you always have to keep an eye on the other one.

Make sure you destroy the tanks on the wall, too. You can do that yourself using the explosive gel, or you can position yourself so the monsters charge into them.

Ok I try that, thanks.

The other neat thing you can do, is when one of them is stunned by running into a wall after you hit him with a batarang is you can jump on his back, and for a short time you can control him and use him to attack the other. (or any other enemies in the room).

This too. That's great fun to do when there's lots of henchmen in the room for you to smash around.

How do I takedown Ivy at the Garden? Any tips?

It's all in the timing. Just make sure that when she fires at you, you're immediately dodging and after the dodge you have to throw the batarang at her quickly. One of the hardest parts is the plants that come up from the ground, but there's a simple way to evade that. Once they start rising just move in the opposite direction. The same goes for when she sends the guards on you - the batclaw is useful during that part.

Ivy is the toughest battle in the whole game, IMO.

I remember when I first got the game and I was reading some of the Ivy comments...I lost on my first try and then aced it on my second. I guess it's only hard if you think it's hard. The only other time I lost against her was when I put it on a harder difficulty.

i agree with that statement im suprised she was harder to beat than the Joker tbh i was shocked that i beat the joker the very first time 0_0 :wow:

Yeah, Joker was far too easy. Then again, most of the other boss battles were as well.

One thing they definitely need to improve on for the sequel is upping the ante with the boss battles. The same strategy can be used for Bane and all the titan thugs. The final battle with the Joker was too easy. Poison Ivy was the only one that really tested your skills a lot.

Still it's a minor complaint in an otherwise brilliant game.

Thanks Draz, love that Joker's returning with a weathered look after the Titan event, though I hope he isn't the main villain this time.

Beat the game recently with a friend and was surprised at just how fun it was and how much territory there was on the island, loved it to bits. Do agree the boss battles were too easy, though I think Poison Ivy was quite hard as was the two titan soldiers right before the final battle with Joker.
