I know they haven't shown much interest in him before, but after this I really hope Rocksteady make a Superman game. I need a great Superman game. A Judge Dredd game would also be pretty cool.

For the millionth time they have no interest at all, and won't be making a superman game. Why does this not get through some peoples heads?

I don't really care who makes a Superman game. if it's not going to be Rocksteady, then another dev can take a shot at it. as long as it's made with the same quality that Rocksteady made these Arkham games with.

the quality of the game is more important than the dev.

and it can be done.

I know this stuff is up to the developers to conceive, but I can't even picture how a great Superman would work. You can't "select" his abilities as if they're in a utility belt.

but they've been very clear they don't want to do it. and that's fine.

but that doesn't mean another dev couldn't do something for Superman the way Rocksteady did for Batman.

Neither can I, but that's the difference between a good and a great game developer. A great one would find an innovative way to make it work.

that is true.

and one of the "appeals" of Superman is that he's so powerful.

with the Arkham games, the appeal is that for the 1st time, you really can "be" Batman, especially when it opened up to the city setting and you could swing and glide around. not to mention the way Batman fought.

with a Superman game, you'd want players to have that same experience. being able to feel the "power" of being Superman.

Indeed. Everyone thinks something is impossible until it is done. I wouldn't limit his abilities, I'd embrace the coolness and fun of them. Just as Rocksteady will with the Batmobile, who have the intent of making it the best vehicle from any videogame ever.

the whole Flying aspect would have to be a big component of a Superman game.

that's perhaps the greatest "wish fulfillment" when it comes to Superman. the ability to just blast off and take to the skies.

you can't have Superman taking on common thugs armed with machine guns.

it doesn't have to be "like Arkham." it's the quality of the game that has to be on the same level.

I think Rocksteady should either continue with DC or do a new IP. Honestly, since they're owned by WB those are probably their only options.

A Flash game could be awesome & could have a really innovative combat system.
