Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 4

I'll be shocked if Rocksteady leap into another DC based game after Arkham Knight. It seems to me that they're itching to move on and create something wholly unique to them.

I really wish they would stay making Batman games, or make a Superman game. But it appears 3 is what they always had in them. I'm willing to give WB Montreal the benefit of doubt on their next Batman game though.

I am not averse to a JL/WF/Trinity game...all I request is one game where the Black Glovle, or its derivative, the Court of the Owls, are the villains. One secret society game.

Oh God yes. I loved when the League of Assassins showed up, and Azrael fo
R the Order of St. Dumas. I love secret societies. I want the Court of owls AND the Black Glove. I don't care how bloated or nonsensical the game is, I want them both!

I also want more Anti-Batmen. Arkham Knight clearly is one but he's just a made up character so I don't care yet. I want Wraith, Killer Moth, Court of Owls Owlman, Earth-3 Owlman, and Prometheus. Yes, of course I want them all in the same game as mentioned above with Black Glove and Court.

Urgh. I hate the borderline fetishishtic obsession writers have with creating their own pet 'Anti-Batman'.

The problem I have is that DC can't just pick one. They love their evil versions of heroes, but can't seem to settle on an "anti" for Batman, or Wonder Woman, for that matter.

Was this Kryptonian vigilante ever in the comics or just in the game?
here's your answer Nightwing

Bats eat moths.

I finally get the significance.

Make no mistake: I like Killer Moth. I developed a huge appreciation for him after attending a presentation Scott Beatty did on Batgirl: Year One, nearly ten years ago. I just want to see one of the Societies rendered in full glory on the game front.

I always thought the Court of Owls had potential. Something so simple, yet eerie about their presentation, their masks, etc. The whole deal with Lincoln March/Thomas Wayne Jr./Owlman was completely stupid and ruined it, but there's potential.

That seems to be Snyder's shtick in general. He has great setup, and only rarely sticks the landing. Doesn't help he always pulls the 'Nothing will ever be the same!/Which member of the Batfamily will die?' melodrama that never pans out.

I'm fairly worried that he'll turn into the Steven Moffat of comics.

Well...I had a crazy dream about Arkham Knight today. Apparently you had to restore power to a giant water power plant, I can't remember the reason. But the whole area was pretty damn big. I also remember seeing two different batman skins.

I think I've been playing these games too much. Lol

Possible Major Spoiler...

After seeing what it was...

Please guys, don't post it. Whatever it is. Not even in blackout tags because some of you just don't know how to do it well.

Yeah, I know. The internet. Hard to avoid. But let's try, at least.

Its literally something we've all pointed out months ago. Not really spoilerish imo.

I'd be cool with it if it is true.

I'm cool with it since:

Azrael did warn Batman about it and Rocksteady has said this is their final Batman game.

But at the same time I thought

if anyone would go, it would maybe be Jim or Barbara since it seems like they have a bigger role in the game.

But I am a bit upset seeing it kind of confirmed. If it was a theory, fine but to see it confirmed, it's a bit worried some so to speak because you now know it's true.

I don't think that box set confirms anything. Maybe it adds some ammo to that theory, but it seems suspect that a box set would spoiler an in-game plot twist.

if its true then i have lost all respect for rocksteady and wb. i really hope that the spoiler isnt true.

Regarding the "spoiler" LEVITIKUZ posted.
I'm not sure it's true, most people play the side-missions after they beat the main story. If this "spoiler" is true what would happen with the side-missions? They can't say; "play all side-missions before completing the main story".

Nah, I'm going to remain doubtful about what this implies.
