I'm not sure either way which direction they will go, but I definitely think it's a legitimate theory.hmmm ok I ca take some of that . Some how I just don't think Ak is a complete hallucination though. we'll find out soon enough
The army would exist and be Scarecrow's, him giving the orders. Batman has imagined people before in the Arkham games. Scarecrow could have mixed a stronger dose which brings out Batman's fears more realistically this time. The Arkham Knight being a twisted manifestation of himself.
I don't know. He was absent for a long time, and did want to exact revenge on Batman. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.I'm not sure how Scarecrow could amass that kind of power over an army that huge and technologically advanced, so I can only imagine that they belong to the AK.
I wouldn't say just the memory part. There's nothing in AA or AC's that suggest that AO's Bane acts the same as in the others. It's quite the opposite actually. When it seemed to him that he would get Batman through his plan in AC, he locks himself in a simple elevator. Even his manner of speech and behavior is almost childlike. He's just a brute. I'd say his brain was pretty damaged by the TN-1 he injected himself. Maybe all that electric shock took a toll on him, too.No, just the memory part which made him forget Batman's identity.
But the voice says "fear" and when you hear that word, you think of Scarecrow![]()

If they keep the pattern, I don't see Bane being what people are expecting him to be and, if we get AC's Bane again, then I rather not have him at all.
All I hear, and continue to hear is Scarecrow.

Or fear could just be a major theme in the game, since Scarecrow is a main villain and all. Plenty of other Batman villains have used the word fear before. It's hardly a patented Scarecrow word in Batman's world.

But since Scarecrow is the main villain, in cahoots with AK, and fear being his main theme of villainy, and the fact he says the word fear in the E3 Reveal, then that's said again in this trailer, with a similar sounding voice - you can't help but think of him![]()

Good lord talk about reading too much into one simple commonly used word in a sentence. You'd think he said fear three or four times in his dialogue. I was more caught up by the actual voice and the south American edge it had to it. Far more telling to me than using the word fear once.
You stick to your theory, I'll stick to mine![]()
It seemed like WB Montreal wanted to give an explanation for Bane's behavior being like that, so they did the TN-1 back story. Which I appreciated. AO's Bane is the one I wanted to see and it's nice that they acknowledged that what we had in the other games did not live up to the character.
Even though we have a different writer once again for AK, like I said, if they go by the last games, including AO, I wouldn't have hopes of getting the Bane we want once again.
And I checked the trailer once again to hear what you guys were talking about. It seems like Scarecrow talking, to me. The same one from the first trailer.

Watch it be Scarecrow
Same here and I have come to the same conclusion. But why does Scarecrow sound a bit foreign now?![]()
Well he's picked up an entirely new voice (actor), so it isn't that much of a stressOnly if Scarecrow has spent the last few years in South America and picked up the accent.

Chances are, as of now, it isBecause odds are it's not Scarecrow.

Chances are, as of now, that it is![]()

Because his voice actor is AustralianHarley got a new voice actor. Barbara got a new voice actor. Joker got a new voice actor in Origins etc. They didn't all randomly pick up accents, so why would Scarecrow?

That and the way he said it...Fearrrr...he says it the same way in the E3 trailerRight because he said the word fear once![]()

Even his accent in the E3 reveal sounded foreign, unless it was Bane dubbing him?![]()
