Just saw part 2 now. Not all that exciting. Looks gorgeous as always, but definitely not as exciting as part 1.

That was really lame. My brain went numb watching that new trailer. It felt like I was watching another bad Michael Bay movie.

I'm honestly getting annoyed with the Batmobile. It looks really bland and boring. Show us BATMAN!!!!!

while I understand how this is Disappointing for most here with those others around that complain that video game publisher & movie makers show everything in trailers killing the surprise for those to experience it or see it all in game or in a movie. I can under stand why this was done .

I was told that trailer was gameplay footage, but it looks like pre-rendered CG footage to me.

The first video looked closer to what I saw during the E3 for the Ace Chemicals stage.

Listen, I can imagine the actual game has some impressive graphics, but that is NOT in-game footage unless I can proof otherwise.

I'm not really looking forward to Batmobile combat. Looks kinda repetitive.
Driving around Gotham, however, should be a blast.

The part two trailer was pointless, really. We've seen that batmobile combat all before.

I'm pretty sure it is all gameplay footage. I distinctly remember back when the game was announced, that there would be no pre-rendered CGI scenes. It would all be using the in-game engine for seamless integration. This made quite a few of us around here pretty excited because that would mean any extra skins would be viewable in the cut scenes.

They did say that to Game informer & EPN.TV & the first video of part one showed this to a degree.l but it's starting look like it's more like you won't be able to tell the the game play from a cut scene so while it may look like a cut scene to some people it'll actually be Game play.

Anyway I staying with what I said I understand why this was done cause there are people that are complai about trailer showing too much these days and they do need to hold some stuff back for the game and maybe they will show something different at the VGA's. "maybe"

You honestly believe all that footage from the newest trailer is all in-game footage?

They said no pre-rendered CG cut scenes for the game, but the very first trailer reveal was obviously a pre-rendered CG video. This is still a trailer.

I'm just highly skeptical that's all in-game footage.

Well their a first Joker & Two-Face both agree

The coin must have come up good heads :2face:

Don't you think that's an extreme overreaction? I mean bland and boring, how can you think that when you see all the cool stuff you can do with it. The problem is this:

The part two trailer was pointless, really. We've seen that batmobile combat all before.

The new trailer didn't show us anything new. The Batmobile shooting a few tanks. Not only is that underwhelming after last week's trailer, but we've seen that already in last week's trailer, and in a previous one, too, where Batman goes after Penguin.

I hope they can capture the tension and claustrophobia of AA again. They kind of got away from that in AC. Although, it may be impossible with an even bigger open world.

That was just announcement trailer to set mood. It won't be in the game, Arkham Origins and Arkham City had pre-rendered trailers as their announcements.

I know that announcement trailer is not in game. I believe this latest video was possibly just a pre-rendered CG video using in-game assets to build it just to set the mood for the game's version of the Batmobile.

Hmmm. I'm easily distracted by complaints well there's a third and final video is set to debut this Saturday during Sony’s opening keynote at PlayStation Experience. as the end of the video states we'll if that makes up for this for all those disappointed

I don't think they're going for that vibe with this game. They could approach it with the interior levels but it won't be to the extent that Asylum was.

Exactly.
I hoped for something new, like the Batmobile going up the roofs like the Tumbler in Batman Begins.

The Batmobile combat/maneuvering reminds me of the vehicle mode in the newer Transformer games.

I don't get the hate for the new trailer. Sure it didn't show much but it focused completely on the Batmoblie. We still have part 3 coming Saturday and also a trailer at the VGA.

I'm fine with this being underwhelming a bit because I know Part 3 won't be and its likely they will announce a villain in the game at the VGAs.

There's no need to be upset.

Nobody is hating it, LEVI. Just disappointed in it. It's a big step down after last week's trailer which was a bonanza of new jaw dropping material, while this one didn't show us anything new. I've no problem with a Batmobile focused trailer if it's showing us new stuff. So while it looked great, as a trailer it was meh.

Pretty much this.

Like I said there's Saturday's upcoming part 3 .

I said part 3 is. I stated here yesters day if you look at my posts here prior other gamer news/review sites put that up as well. but nearly every one here on the hype was in rant mode.
