Batman: Arkham Knight

I still can't forgive Konami after cancelling Silent Hills. I mean that just hurts. To not just cancel it but remove PT from Playstation Store is petty as ****.

Grant it, how WB handled the PC port and season pass to Arkham Knight was poorly but unlike many AAA studios, they are actually putting out good games.

The published Witchers 3 for North America. They did Mad Max, Lego Jurassic World, Lego Dimensions, Batman Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat all this year. I mean that's a pretty good year.

Activision barely has anything outside of now Destiny, bringing back Guitar Hero, and COD. They seriously ****ed up Tony Hawk. They haven't had a good Marvel game in God knows how long.

I feel EA is slowly improving but how Star Wars Battlefront will do will be the biggest test for EA and how fans feel about them.
I did not forget about Konami. They are definitely the worst, but will soon be irrelevant because they are leaving the market. Then WB Interactive will step in.

WBI's biggest problem aren't the games they release, it is how they release them and handle DLC. Look at the cost of Lego Dimensions and the Arkham season pass. Look at the DLC for stuff like Mordor and MKX. Now look at the actual content you get for your money. This is before we get into how broken Arkham Knight was on PC, how broken Origins was in general, and how they stiffed Wii U users. Before we get into the Batmobile fiasco, one they only informed the fans less then a week before release.

Using the Witcher 3 is a bit of a non-starter because their money isn't invested in it and thus have no say in what is and isn't charged for.

Cancelling Silent Hills made sense though. Kojima was leaving the company. Without him, why even bother? It was going to be his vision. That would be like him announcing he's making MGSV but leaves before the project gets moving, yet Kojima still proceeds with developing it

WB got criticism with MKX with the way they handled the DLC. The second season pass definitely burned some people. You are right though in that they arent the worse. I wasnt aware they were tied to most of those games outside of Lego

Activision definitely doesnt breed creativity or originality. I dont really buy their games anymore. Last one I purchase was Advanced Warfare, but after finishing the campaign, I traded it in. Was good while it lasted though.
The problem with Konami is how they threat their workers. Kojima left because it is a hell hole.

Because even the most die hard fan is sensible enough to know that everything has flaws. Nothing is perfect. Least of all this game. What would be more logical to say is you love it so much that the flaws are irrelevant for you.

You couldn't be more wrong when you say that nothing is perfect. Who died and made you judge jury and executioner?
Some things are perfect to some people. Like a movie or someone's marriage or life even. So your calling me not a die hard fan because I don't complain about things?

yes really. Doesnt make you any less hypocritical

Stop the dramatics will you. You go on preaching about how it's wrong to say that nothing can be perfect, but you can tell us that some of our criticisms are not valid; http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=32374239&postcount=271

No wonder you sound hypocritical. Anyone who calls anything perfect most likely don't mean that they're flawless, but that they are so good that the flaws are so minute that they're irrelevant.

FYI I never said you were not a die hard fan. I said even die hard fans can acknowledge the flaws of something they love so much.

I think this game had plenty of flaws that really hurt it, but I really enjoyed my time playing the campaign, and I enjoyed the story quite a lot.
I'd still rank it slightly above Arkham City, and unfortunately I've never played Origins. :(

So I finally stuck this in and played all the October DLC. Playing as all the characters on combat maps is nice, though I'm just waiting on that option in predator as it's my preferred challenge map style. But nonetheless, it's nice playing as some favourites.

GCPD Lockdown was okay. Too short, like all of these, but that predator map was great and the Nightwing/Penguin banter was good.

It's nice having the Tumbler, but the race tracks are awful. Ashes doesn't have anything that feels really like that trilogy in the way the Burton tracks do, Cataclysm is a slight improvement with the driving on rooftops segment but the mall part is pretty bland and I thought it was noteworthy that the crashed plane in the Rises segment wasn't the plane that crashed. Overall, eh, but I like having the Tumbler.

The 66 pack is fantastic. These are the only two race tracks that I actually am looking forward to playing again, especially Penguin's docks. Well done, this is great.

Things can be perfect and it was a pretty silly blanket statement to make from you to say that they are not. See, your still trying to say that there are still flaws in something which can be overlooked. Wrong. Things can be perfect. Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

So people are pissed that I think this game is perfect but because some can't wrap their head around that thought believe I'm wrong. Most complaints come across a silly anyway. Fair enough if you don't go like something but to go into absolute detail into why you don't like something just comes across a silly. I've never been of that frame of mind when it comes to talking about something. I either enjoy it or don't. I love this site and come to it daily for years but I fear that I can't talk about things because If I like something or think its perfect I'm not listened to and it feels that if I complain or say I don't like something is when people do get listened to.

Being a real fan of something means you can criticize it. Just saying.

Yup. I LOVE Star Wars but I also openly admit the prequels are, mostly, poop.

So now I have to criticize things to be a real fan?
I love AK and some people can't wrap their head around the fact that I think its perfect. Man, you guys must lead bleak lives if you think things can't be perfect.

Considering you're the one who said criticism isn't valid, I think there's only person struggling to wrap their head around things.

Batbreak just chill out. You're acting like a dramatic teenage girl in high school.

I downloaded the 66 tracks but haven't gotten to play them yet. Excited for them.

Tell that to the Joker.

Sure thing. :woot:

Hey, Joker, considering batfreak is the one talking about criticism being invalid, I think there's only one person struggling to get their head around things.
