    - Not an Origin story of Batman or Arkham
    - Sets on Gotham
    - Story happens in a course of a single evening, Christmas Eve.
    - Batman will meet some characters for the 1st time.
    - Best Assasins around the world have been hired to murder Batman.

    the game takes place years before both of the previous Arkham titles when a young, unrefined Batman encounters many supervillains for the first time.

    Oh lord that sounds glorious.

    But why is it called Arkham: Origins if its not an origin story on Arkham?

    But wouldnt that be poor marketing. You are labeling your game an Origin without it actually being an Origin. This is neither an origin story for Arkham nor for Batman. So where does the Origin part of the title come in?


    Awesome to see that its set in Gotham tho, during Christmas. Very Batman Returns. I dig it.

    No Rocksteady? Makes me nervous.

    But I hope they don't go back to letting Batman only have 3 or 4 things in his utility belt like Arkham Asylum. I like being able to take down multiple guys using an array of tools.

    It's a generic title, but it does serve a purpose with Arkham brand awareness, and the Origin is there as Batman is meeting some characters for the 1st time.

    Remember, there is a rumor that the Justice League is suppose to appear, granted there is also the rumor of this being Joker's 1st appearence.

    Yea they deff dont need to go altering Rocksteadys formula. Just add to it. Agree tho, cant wait to see a trailer. Hope Conroy is back and they arent pulling a Kojima by needlessly replacing a legendary voice actor.

    They definitely need to replace Conroy. We don't want a young Batman to sound like an old fart. Let's hope they pull a Kojima. :word:

    No way. Im sure Conroy could do a younger less grizzled Batman.

    Altho that is a good point, i didnt even think about Bats youthfulness

    I'm looking forward to it. No Rocksteady is slightly nerve-racking, but only slightly. Its set on Christmas Eve, the Best Batman is at Christmas time!

    I'm cool with the story being an origin one, but I am also a little disappointed that the story lines hinted at by Azrael in AC will go untold, at least for now
