Batman: Arkham Origins

Normal as in not completely ridiculous looking. And I know he was been depicted as a freaking monster before. But I don't know how many actually liked that look. I doubt it's the majority of fans.

I really hope the complains and rising popularity thanks to Nolan's Movie, forced them to update the design to something less ridiculous. And also stop treating him like a run of the mill thug he was portrayed as in the last two games.

God I hope we get this.

I'd prefer Bane to have his iconic look, but I'm willing to compromise. I'm willing to accept a Nolan inspired Bane as long as his design isn't over the top.

Funny thing is, that promo artwork of TDKR Bane isn't accurate.

So, really...all of these pictures of Bane has pretty much the same body.

I mean, has anyone seen the other TDKR promo artwork where Bane is facing off against Batman? They muscled him up appropriately.

When he's not over pumped on venom, yes he does look like that. but when he activates it, more from that look he's bigger then that. and when he's drained of venom well you've seen what he looks like. it's kinda hard to say what's normal for him.


I mean seeing what happens when he's drained of venom and all.

Well, in TDKR there was no venom. And Hardy was not very big. I think they got away with it because they used the right shots, especially with how tall Bale is compared to Hardy. But, Hardy is not as big as the Bane in the promo artwork. Like this one:

Bane ought to be bigger than Batman. For sure.

I would honestly prefer somewhere between Bane in that artwork and the Akrham-verse Bane. Somewhere in between would probably make me happy.

well my only issue is if bane will he sound Latino . and not what others call Hardy's performance ( The Mike Myer's Dr Evil Bane) other wise I don't mind Hardy 's version. but I'm with Luis there when it comes to that.

I prefer latino/south american Bane..But I actually like Bane's voice in TDKR and so I'd be okay IF he'd be voiced like that in the game

yeah well when ever I hear it I start wanting a "mini me" version of him to start fallowing him around . lol it just puts silly thoughts there. So more Latino bane for me.

If they decide to honor Bane's heritage from the comics, they should hire Danny Trejo. He voiced the character well in the animated form, and outside of animation, is a good actor. I am not fond the voice-acting for Bane in the previous two Arkham titles.

I say just stick with Banes Latino origin. I mean I prefer everything about Hardys interpretation over anything In comics or animated film/tv but that's Hardys Bane. It'd be the same if someone tried to recreate Ledgers interpretation of Joker. I'd like each actor to kind of put their own spin on the character. Bane sounds fine to me in Injustice, so something similar I'd be cool with.

Again like everyone else, I want a Bane that isn't the mindless Titan thug. Which I think we will get(assuming he's in the game at all)

Yeah the voice actor for Bane in Injustice is decent and so I'd like him,Trejo would be awesome though

Danny Trejo's accent was a bit too thick for me. I prefer Henry Silva. I like the contrast between brutish appearance and almost gentleman like personality. I just like his voice, mannerism and the way he expresses himself.

Well Arkhamverse Bats himself is pretty big. Ud assume they'd make Bane bigger. That's quite large.

I'll say it again. Those one armed thugs in Arkham City had the perfect size. That's what Bane should look like without Venom. On Venom, you just buff him up a bit. I think the problem with Arkham's art style is, that almost everyone looks freaking ripped and huge. So if you'd put Bane next to some of those huge thugs, he wouldn't really look special or impressive at all. So that's probably why they turned characters like Bane, Grundy and Croc into giants.

Yea that's prob a good point. I agree the Abramovici twins would be a good size for Bane.

in most of their portrayal's/incarnations Grundy and crock are giants though. well depending, if you them put up next to normal thug's or normal citizens. to one arm clown were made to make you feel badass when you beat them cause of their size. lol it's silly cause in combat size doesn't matter. but that's the only reason they are there.
