i havent been able 2 find it anywhere.. i highly doubt its out on bluray.

it's not on Blu Ray....it was used to help promote the ill-fated HD DVD format.

i expect to see it released on Blu Ray-once the format slaughters HD DVD.

I have it on hd-dvd. Though I heard it will be released on Blu-ray soon. 2008-ish. Though yes it is out on Hd-Dvd.

Give me a blu-ray version please!

i work at the Sears store in Merrillville, IN..in the Electronics Dept.

we just got a new video loop-and it features a lengthy (think 10 minutes or so) Blu Ray featurette (it looks pretty) and one of the titles they promote in it is Batman Begins. It should be out in 2008 as part of a massive marketing blitz for the Dark Knight-along with the DVD release of "The Dark Knight Chronicles" (Anime), and possibly HD / Blu Ray releases of Batman 89 / Returns / Forever / B&R

as much as i dont wanna see B&R in HD....i'll be buying it.

HD DVD is a dead format already. Blu Ray is the way to pick people. This is coming from someone in the industry.

thanks for the news.. bro.. cant wait 2 pick it up on blu-ray.. rite now i have 300 and x-men 3 on blu-ray.. preorded spiderman trilogy on bluray 2day..ill just b pickin up batman begins on blu-ray.. ill have 2 hold off the on the older movies.. thanks again.

the other movies are speculation right now. I haven't had it confirmed by any of my sources that the Burtonmacher movies will be released in HD in 2008.

If they're not released when TDK hits theatres / Begins hits Blu Ray, I'd expect them to be part of some crazy six disc Blu Ray Boxset o' doom. Hell, I'd kill for 14 disc Batman Collection a la the Superman one..except on Blu Ray...

Batman 89 (Blu Ray Edition w/ like 8 hours of Bonus Features + Fan Commentary from people like Mark Hamil, Kevin Conroy, Kevin Smith, etc)

Returns (Blu Ray Edition w/ like 8 hours of Bonus Features + Fan Commentary from people like Mark Hamil, Kevin Conroy, Kevin Smith, etc)

Forever (2 BRD Edition w/ Bonus Directors Cut version on Disc 2 + new commentary / bonus features)

Batman & Robin (Directors Cut Edition, new commentary, fan commentary etc)

Batman Begins (Directors Cut Edition w/ commentary, all the features of the 2 disc DVD, plus alternative fan commentary and docuementry)

The Dark Knight Special "R Rated" Edition, featuring an in depth documentry, commentary tracks, behind the scenes, etc)

The Dark Knight Chronicles (Commentary / Bonus Features)

Legend of the Dark Knight (Documentry a la the Superman one)

The Cinematic Saga of Batman (Documentry a la the one in the 14 Disc Superman collection)

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm on Blu Ray with an all new documentry on the DCAU, Commentary from cast & crew + Fan Commentary track)

something else to make it an even 12 discs.

There we go folks. Batman: The Ultimate Dark Knight Collection. 12 discs on sheer Blu Ray goodness

I'm really kind of upset that Begins got a barebones HD DVD release-instead of Blu Ray. I still dont see why people are backing HD DVD at all, when the price of a Blu Ray player is pretty close to an HD DVD player now.

HD DVDs are actually 10 bucks more expensive than Blu Rays-cuz they're releasing stupid ass Double Sided HD DVDs w/ a regular DVD side on one side. which makes NO SENSE!

that and yknow. Sony owns like 75% of the entire back catalogue of Cinema ever in the history of existence.

Is this verified?

BB on Blu Ray either when TDK comes out in Theatres or on DVD. Yes.

The Giant Box Set O' Doom? Not Confirmed, just rumored.

WB if youre still on the boards... please blu-ray batman begins. i want this.

WB did the same thing with the ultimate matrix collection.. its only on HDDVD for now, but it is gonna come out on blueray next year I think.

Ultimate Matrix will come out on Blu Ray...

WB put it on HD DVD to throw the format a bone....it will be a colossal failure

No, I believe that list was his wishlist for what he wanted. The R-rated Dark Knight a year before the movie is theatrically released is a fanboy dream. Some of the stuff, such as the Cinematic saga of The Dark Knight, is already available on the 2-disc Burton/Schumacher movies. They are great DVDs full of a lot of special features, and Schumacher pretty much apologizes on the commentary track to Batman and Robin.
